Jerk It Iz Jamaican Cuisine

I’m honestly really upset about this experience. I spent $26 expecting a good meal and ended up completely disappointed. The jerk oxtails and chicken dinner had no flavor at all — everything was bland, and the spaghetti tasted off. On top of that, some items were missing from my order like my darn jerk chicken. For the price I paid, I expected way better quality and attention to detail. This was a total letdown, and I definitely won’t be ordering from here again. This is why so many business on the south side don’t last because lack of consistency. A waste of my money frl

Was there the other night and a HUGE RAT came running out of the kitchen area into the area where customers order, then it ran back IN to the kitchen!

I complained, but they said absolutely nothing (like it's normal)

I got a catfish dinner with greens and cabbage. The greens were horrible because they added some sour pickled veggies on top that were just too sour for my liking. The cabbage was good. The peas and rice had no peas and the rice was a bit over cooked. The jerk sauce is a Lil bit too sour the heat is fair but im used to spicier jerk sauce. The fish was good.

I ordered the Oxtails meat only, and 1 pineapple ginger pop $25. Oxtails came in a foamcup half filled with oil and the tails had fat all over. If I wasnt so hungry I would have taken it back, very disappointing experience.

First Time on the 2nd my food was fresh and good. The only thing I can say negative is that I needed another cup of jerk sauce.

The most outstanding thing about this place is how profoundly unprofessional and rude the staff is. I was checking my phone/texting my friends to make sure I got everybody's order right and the worker threw a tantrum and stormed off to the back just to spite me. It was a slow Wednesday night and there was nobody in line behind me. And it's a good thing I checked, because she got the order wrong and forgot some things! With raising prices, mediocre food, and abysmal service, I'm astonished this place can stay in buisness. I, for one, will be taking my buisness to any of the other nearby options.

Horrible wait time. Not a safe place. A guy was there about to smoke crack. Owner tried to kick him out and things got way out of hand. Got my money back and left after waiting over an hour for pasta.

Fish is to die for. Food is very tasty. Additionally, selected this place to cater an event. Everyone wanted to know who cook the food as they said it was the best they ever had. In fact I'm using them this week to cater another event.

Food was so good especially at 12:00Am on DoorDash .. I really didn’t like the macaroni but I did like chicken & Jamican patty which is all I had ordered.
