Ordered the jerk chicken tips. Food was okay. The wait was kind of long. The Mac & cheese didn’t really have much flavor, cabbage was a bit on the salty side. Rice & peas were clumpy. Overrall food was okay but it really wasn’t super warm upon receiving. Like they reheated the food.

Unfortunately, I am rating this place a three star. I placed the online order and came in about 20 minutes after I placed the online order when I walked in the place was not busy. I had to wait about 10 -15minutes or so while inside because my order was not ready I got to my car just to taste the food out and my sides were like lukewarm and my chicken was two different temperatures and not cooked from today. as I had already waited long enough for my order. I did not want to go back in to wait additional time. unfortunately that tells me the food was not fresh!! Overall presentation and portion size great.

You can't go wrong with Jerk Soul’Lay. Excellent service and great food. The curry chicken is my favorite and it's 🔥 Other jerk places on the southside start off good but the quality falls off after awhile. Not the case here. Check em out

Im a rican from the west side. Deff making this trip again! I am Caribbean so this was especially good, but even then this food (and anglo-caribbean) in general has a flavor so unique. Honestly, one of my favs in the city. This is the dark meat, rice, mac and cheese, cabage, beff patty and plantain!
