Swung by Jerk Taco Man on State for a quick bite. Grabbed the JTM Special for $25—it came with a jerk steak taco, a jerk chicken taco, jerk fries, and a jumbo jerk chicken egg roll. The tacos were flavorful, and that egg roll was on point. Only gripe was the wait time; took about 25 minutes to get my order. But the food hit the spot, and the portions were solid. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.
My boyfriend is originally from Chicago, and he couldn't wait to bang on some Jerk Taco Man again. We ordered the loaded jerk fries, traditional jerk chicken tacos, jerk pasta, and more. The chicken had a nice amount of flavor and spice, and it was very juicy and tender. The cashier was kind enough to give us a free jerk egg roll for our wait. It's great that they didn't skimp on the chicken for the tacos, but I wish the staff offered extra tortillas for the meat....
Went and got some jerk tips yesterday… I normally always get the tacos but mannnnn they were fresh and tender!! Made with perfection. I’m mad I didn’t get a picture. Going back to get more!!!! I fell in love lol
