Waited 45 mins for a patty then once I ask for a refund it’s magically done. Want to get in touch with a manager that was ridiculous I come here very often.

I came inside to order, very calm atmosphere & loved the music. Placed my order, was instructed it would be about 15 minutes. Came back and it was waiting for me. The food was fresh and the chicken actually didn't need the sauce it was flavorful. The sauce was hot!! Just like I like it. Overall experience was a 10 food was a 10. Ill be back

The “jerk” chicken is baked chicken. Unseasoned baked chicken. I don’t get why this place has 4 stars. Maybe the customer service because they are really nice in there.
They used to be so good used to be my fav jerk spot in the city but now they went downhill they changed they jerk sauce which was my fav part and they skimp on the meat doesn’t taste as good as it used to unfortunately
I’m currently at jerky jerk and the service is horrible my wife and I we’re literally in their lobby for 20 minutes when the worker walked past us did not greet or asked if we needed any help this will be my first and last time patronizing that jerky jerk
We ordered carryout and tried the chef’s special, and I just want to express my gratitude. With inflation, dining out has become increasingly expensive — often you get smaller portions for the same price or even more. That wasn’t the case here.
The plate lunches were outstanding, and the portions were generous enough to leave me completely full. Honestly, I could have stopped halfway through, but the food was so flavorful and delicious that I just kept going. Thank you for delivering both quality and value — it truly stands out.

I had to leave a review because the food was just that good. I ordered the dark chicken dinner with rice & peas, macaroni and cheese, and sweet potatoes and everything was absolutely delicious.
The chicken was cooked to perfection flavorful, tender, and seasoned so well. The sides were just as impressive. The mac and cheese was rich and comforting, the sweet potatoes were perfectly balanced, and the rice and peas were fresh and full of flavor.
I ordered through DoorDash and even after the drive, my food arrived piping hot like it had just come out of the kitchen. That alone says a lot about the quality and care put into the food.
It was absolutely worth it, and I’ll definitely be back again and again.
10/10 highly recommend.

Just walk in the door and smell the place and you know you’re in the right place. Melanie is an all star employee with an amazing personality and service. Jerk and curry chicken are both amazing. Rice and beans and the jerk sauce are out of this world.

I can only speak to lunch takeout, as I've only dined in once (also lunch), but it's always excellent. Staff are friendly and the jerk wrap lunch special hits the spot at a great price.

I ordered the jerk salad yesterday and even paid extra for additional chicken. When I finally got home and opened it, I was extremely disappointed. The problem wasn’t the amount of chicken, it was the lack of salad. The bed of shredded lettuce and vegetables was barely there, to the point that I wouldn’t even consider this a real salad.
I was honestly shocked that they felt comfortable charging $25 for something that looked more like a (kids meal)small side portion than a full meal. Definitely not worth the price, and unfortunately this experience makes it a “never again” for me.
If anyone knows a jerk spot in Chicago that serves a well-balanced jerk salad that’s actually worth the price, please drop your recommendations below!

My fiancé and I went to pick up an order. We arrived 15 minutes before the order was ready so we were invited in to have a seat at the bar. Shaunice (I hope I’m spelling it right) was a delight. She served us drinks at the bar and brought us out super fresh food. She cooks everything herself. Great people, place and fantastic food. We will be back!

We got the dinner for 2 with some extra sides. The food was amazing. Be prepared to wait. It is worth it! Maybe the best jerk chicken I've had. The only downside is that I ordered a side of Mac and a egg rolls and some plantains. I sadly didn't get the egg rolls in my to go order which was a bummer. My husband was really looking forward to the rolls. And by the time I noticed they where closed. Besides that. Will be returning.

While workers literally walked pass me without saying hello or asking what I was standing in line for 😩😩 my jerk dinner wasn't all that only the cabbage was good... The macaroni tasted nasty like it was out the box 🤢🤮🤢🤮 I would never spend my9ney here again, it was a waste of america dollars
