I am a repeat customer here but I will not be anymore. Completely messed up my order. Asked for fried chicken , didn’t receive it. Left my Mac and cheese off as well. The chicken was very very dry & when I called to tell them of course they never answer the phone !!! I finally got in touch with someone who told me they would replace my order, I called back to confirm and they never answered. This place use to be great, I was very unpleased with my food as well as how it was handled! On top of that the order took over a hour just to be completely wrong !!!

I was totally disappointed in Jerky jerk. I ordered 6 wings. I got 3 and half winglets. And the chickens was just ok. Not really good. I paid over $18. Which was highway robbery. I’m definitely down with supporting businesses. But I’ll never go back there again. I’ll go grocery shopping. And cook myself.

I tried the jerk wrap and it was so so good. Crispy red onions, sweet plantain, moist and well seasoned chicken. I ate it so quick I didn’t realize I forgot to take a picture of my food 😂 it was really tasty though I will be back to try other menu items.

I really wanted to like this place, but the food was just not good. The rice had a bad texture and was kind of flavorless. The chicken and oxtails were both very dry and didn’t have the correct flavor profile for authentic Jamaican food. The oxtails are not tender at all definitely not fall off the bone. I ordered all dark meat jerk chicken and it was still dry. I also paid for a side of plantains, which were never received.
I got take-out, but the cashier was nice and the restaurant appeared clean & playing good music.

Hit Jerky Jerk on Taylor for dinner around 6 PM. I did the Pick 2 Meats & 2 Sides plate (jerk chicken + oxtail with rice ’n peas + mac & cheese), added a mango CBD smoothie. Chicken was fire, oxtail tasty but slightly dry, mac & cheese creamy, smoothie mellow. Space was chill but chairs sparse and line moved slow—staff were chill tho. Solid 4★ Chi‑town Caribbean fix.

All I can say. The best jerk that I have tasted yet. Hands down, cocktail on the rocks. The flavor is awesome, fresh as always. I travel to get this. Come one come all and get a special treat of the islands. Keep up the tremendous work. Repeat customer for life.
