Jiang Niu BBQ House Chinatown offers an all-you-can-eat experience with a wide selection of meats and sides, blending Chinese and Korean flavors. The service is fast and friendly, with warm and thoughtful wait staff. The quality of the meat is top, the service is on point, and the atmosphere is super nice. The food came out rather quickly and the robot brought some sides and other dishes too, which was pretty cool. The yakult drink is to die for. Customers especially enjoy the endless options of beef, pork, and vegetables, with favorites like short ribs, garlic beef ribs, and the corn with cheese. The sauce bar is amazing, adding more flavor to the meal.
The restaurant's decor is modern and clean, and the servers are efficient, ensuring the food comes out quickly. Customers can order from a tablet with no food limit, and there is also a buffet-style selection of cooked food, Chinese cold dishes, lettuce, and sauces. One thing to note is that some customers wish the grills would be changed more often, as one did not get replaced during a recent visit, but overall, service remains great. The staff is very nice and helpful, even offering to cook for customers so they can focus on eating. The restaurant is usually not crowded on Wednesday nights, so no reservation is needed.
Customers have noted that the ventilation could be improved, especially towards the back of the space, but the high quality of food, like seaweed soup and chilled tofu, often outweighs this concern. The restaurant also offers a delicious s'mores dessert that customers have raved about. Many say this is the best all-you-can-eat BBQ they can have in Chicago.
