JIAO by Qing Xiang Yuan Dumplings

The place is comfortable and clean. The staff are very nice and kept walking around the place to clean tables and ensure everything was in good shape. The dumplings and the drink were tasty. I just can’t get over the price. I had 12 smaller-than-average dumplings for $18 and a mango tea drink for $8. I was hungry when I left.

I was looking forward to coming here but I didn’t realize it was an “order at a kiosk” type place. 0 interaction with people which is why I give service 2 stars because there isn’t any service.
The choices are limited. The sides are sad. I had the chicken and beef pan fried dumplings and they were okay…. Not great. Not bad. But not worth the price. For 12 pieces (6 of each) and a can of coke it was just over $20. (With a tip for the….. service)

Not a place I would recommend.

The atmosphere was cool, but seemed like there was a lot of “broken doors”, lifts out of service, etc…

Great lunch deal and quality dumplings. The beef truffle is a highlight.

Tasty quick treat

Love their food and atmosphere. They have a good variety of dumpling fillings, tea, some sides and sweet buns. The interior is very beautiful.

Don’t know about other days but in a weekday lunchtime, there’re always plenty of space and orders are prepared quickly.

Also the option to make an order via terminal is great!

Ordered 6 Dumplings for some $8 bucks

They are TINY and dont taste like much. Poor value.

Love the modern ambience and love the idea that the dumplings are fresh and seem hand made. They give you 6 small dumplings for the tofu vegetarian ones but it’s $9.49 plus tax. And the sweet bun $2.99 phoenix bun (salted egg which is sweet) plus tax. We were still hungry after the 6 dumplings and sweet bun. Pricey … wish they gave more food. But love the decorative inside and the logo or mascot is super cute. They have recycling! Very clean and the bathrooms are clean also.

Yesterday I came with friends and I found hard plastic inside my dumpling in my first bite. ? The manage only gave me just only $7 back for this dish. We are ordered so many things. But they were only refund just one dish.

Actually the restaurant is so cute ,especially the characters, but after I found plastic inside my dumpling ? ? I could not say any word.

I recently tried two fried dumplings: chicken & mushroom and zucchini, rice vermicelli, and wood ear mushroom. They satisfied by dumpling craving, but I was expecting them to be more fried than they were.

I also had the strawberry passionfruit tea with tapioca. I was disappointed when I discovered a three small hard pieces of black material in my mouth. Like plastic.

While the dumplings were so-so, the bubble tea surprise was disappointing.

It was overpriced and not particularly filling. The dumplings were small (around the size of a quarter) and the tea was the height of my palm. The beef and onion dumplings were decent, but my friend's dumplings were really oily.

INCREDIBLE DRINKS — the milkshakes can be made vegan and the lemonade was chefs kiss. VEGAN DUMPLINGS #7 are ELITE. 10/10 would come back, just wish it was a lil cheaper </3

Amazing dumplings!!

I tried the beef and the chicken. Love how there seems to be a bit of broth in the dumplings so when u take a bite theres a burst of juicy flavor. Wish I had the recipe so I can make this at home! I do have to say it isnt very filling tho. I got hungry again not much after which is what usually happens if my meal doesnt have much protein/fat. Not sure why that was but I would definitely come here again. On the hunt for a similar recipe! If I make it at home I might make a more filling side with it!

We are so disappointed. The options of dumplings were limited and not anything a typical person would associate with soup dumplings. We were hoping for attentive dumplings and got trendy mid dumplings.
