The food is good but the service from one lady was horrible. It's the worst. Personally, they treated me very badly. In a very bad way. If you're going to have a person in customer service, make sure they have a good attitude.

I ordered the club tuna combo on wheat via the app at 2pm. I immediately received a call from an employee of the restaurant, named Scott. Scott told me that it will be an hour and a half wait for wheat bread because they had run out. He was extremely nice which is why I gave 3 stars for service instead of 0. I decided to get French bread instead of waiting for wheat. Unfortunately, the quality of sandwich would be laughable if I wasn’t so thoroughly disappointed. It looks like they gave me a spoonful of tuna and spread it across the bread. I included pictures. I can only taste veggies and bread. I ordered tuna on wheat all the time so I am familiar with how much tuna I usually receive. Waste of money.

Workers are great and food is decent but the owner Scott is stingy. He doesn’t train his employees well and takes tips for himself. The method of washing dishes is disgusting and the back room where they are kept is a mess. I would not trust the cleanliness of this store nor its ownership. Try the Jimmy John’s just a bit north and you’ll be better off.

We got there at 7:50 and they were supposed to close at 8 but they closed the doors early and refused to take order. Do not try this place near the closing time, it will be waste of time

Great Jimmy John’s location with excellent service. Everything was fresh and the store was very clean. It was pouring rain out and the employees were great to everyone and even let someone charge their phone who didn’t even order a meal. Is definitely come back to this store for the great service.

I live right by this establishment. Jimmie John’s sandwiches are generally good, but this location repeatedly omits items from take-out orders. I attribute it to incompetence rather than malice, but CHECK YOUR PICK-UPs before leaving with take-out.EDIT: Thank you to those that responded - you have to understand that, in this city, police have other concerns, so this wasn’t something I thought of doing right away, but I did go ahead and and notify the police about this establishment, due to the repeated missing items. Hopefully they are able to apprehend the employees responsible - I’m pretty sure it’s only 2 or 3 of them, and not a pervasive issue.

Walked in and was greeted with a smile and a "hello"..that set the tone of my experience...there was a new guy and he was eager and willing to learn, his pleasant demeanor and small talk was right on time. His trainer (a female) was just as pleasant. Sandwiches on point. All around good experience.

I placed an order for delivery, waited 30 minutes for my food and it never arrived. Later they call me saying that the manager ISABEL returned to the delibery guy. because it's not her area! I asked to speak to the manager of the place and they didn't have a manager! Him called her on the phone and she was spiker and she told the guy she was serving me that she didn't care what I said that it wasn't her problem and that she wouldn't send me my order!That place has terrible customer service!
I am a patron of JJ's, and even though I really like their sandwiches and other food items, what stood out the most this time, and warranted me to review is the professionalism and top notch customer service displayed at the hour BEFORE closing time by one Anasia! This young collegiate worker has the potential to be AWESOME in any and everything she does. Anasia greeted me warmly, and addressed me properly; now we passed a few pleasantries (laughs), then she went on take my order. Now after hanging up the telephone with her, she returned my call and apologized profusely in letting me know that they had run short of wheat bread for the night. Now this was a request I had made of her, telling her of some recent dental work I had done, and that I preferred a soft bread, and to cut the sandwich into small quarters, [which really wasn't that big of a deal for me], I liked her sincerity in being concerned of telling the customer one thing, only to realize that something different was amidst. When I picked up my sandwich, I took notice that she is just as friendly & courteous in-person. Now upon returning to work, as I opened the sandwich, Anasia did exactly what I wanted, and I've "rarely" experienced that at a JJ. I asked for the softest roll, this is the softest roll YET! TO DATE!! I asked for the sandwich to be cut in quarters, IT WAS! She listened.. And Anasia is very personable. What more can be said other than I wish Anasia MUCH success in all she does & wherever her career path leads her in life. A Merry Christmas & Happy New Year to her and the entire 1250 S. Michigan JJ team.

Unfortunately I go here because of location but this is probably my last. Placed an online order for 2 simple sandwiches and took over 45mins to have made. They failed to send email confirming order, so after 15mins I called to be told it’s being made as I was on phone with rep. She said would be ready in 5mins. After arriving in 10mins, the simple sandwiches were still not ready. This place continues to lack service and is unable to handle orders efficiently and in a timely manner. Not sure if under new management but surely has become an incompetent location. Will do business at better and other JJ locations instead.
