This is the worst pizza I’ve ever had in my entire life. It stinks—literally and figuratively. The cheese is lunchable-inspired. The crust is fine but everything else sucks. Don’t drive here

As a NYer can confirm this is not close to NY pizza; rather, it may be considered good or NY style by Chicagoan standards, which isn’t saying much considering deep dish is lasagna (but that’s neither here nor there). It was nice they had a vegan pizza added (fyi by the pie not slice) but I probably wouldn’t come back for it, considering it was $35 for a 16 inch pizza, cost extras for sparse toppings(we got mushrooms which included a mushroom ratio less than one mushroom per slice). Pizza was cardboard thin, not in a NY way, rather in a let’s save as much money as we can on making this pizza as far as possible. Even though the vibes of the inside are nice for cheese eaters it’s overpriced and quality has gone down.
Had the pleasure of trying Jimmy’s for the first time since moving to Chicago two years ago and was upset that I hadn’t had it sooner! High quality New York style pizza - large, foldable slices, good sauce, and crispy pepperoni. On the pricier side imo but it’s justified by the quality. Really great crust here. I’ve heard the garlic knots are good as well and will have to get it again soon to judge for myself!
