Start by saying I was born and raised in Queens New York... Hands down the one of best New York style pizza in Chicago! I've been searching for this type of pizza throughout the city and finally found the closest thing to it. Pizza is crispy the texture of the dough is on point with no New York flop. At this point I’ve been here multiple times every time they’ve been consistent 100% recommend!

They have tons of vegetarian pizza options, which was great. However, the taste was disappointing. The pizza was cold when we got it, which didn’t make it enjoyable. The white slice was the favorite with the classic cheese being the second favorite. The pizza was thin but lacked crispiness. Definitely think it would have been better if heated up properly.

It is jumping on a Friday night so you might have to wait for seating. But its worth it. Pizza ranges from typical options like sausage, to more exciting flavors like burrata or spicy honey. You will wait in line on a Friday but the staff keep things moving, are helpful but efficient, and flexible with kids.

Ordered from here since i was craving some NY pizza. It took over an hour to arrive which is fine, but the pizza and garlic knots were ice cold. Super disappointing, especially for the price. Pizza itself tasted fine after being microwaved.

The pizza Jimmy's is great and the variety is pretty impressive. The one-off specials are usually amazing and all the regulars are super consistent and super tasty. The service there is very nice and friendly and the restaurant itself is comfortable and welcoming. The only downside of Jimmy's is parking isn't ideal, but that's less their fault than the cities.

Finally tried out Jimmy’s they have a ton of options and love that you can get them by the slice. The only thing was that when we got the slices they were barely warm so they didn’t taste super fresh and i wish they had more sauce on the pizzas. If they were hotter I’d say this place is pretty solid

Cozy spot to grab a slice or a full pie. Family friendly with plenty of seating. NYC style pizza was flavorful with plenty of standard and exotic options to scratch your pizza itch. The garlic knots with bacon were awesome!

I love this pizza so much that I almost moved to the neighborhood just to be close by it. I love pizza just about any style (except for Detroit style) and this is my favorite spot for by the slice. They have original options and new flavors as well. The chicken bacon ranch is a must try. Even their salad is delicious. NY style was never my favorite but after Jimmy's, it's #2 (tavern style is #1). My wife is from NY and she says this is the closest to NY pizza she can get around here. We love this place so much that we even did part of our Engagement photos here. Every time we are even close to Jimmy's, we make a stop. Also, if you like beer they always have amazing craft options in tap. I'm not a big beer drinker but sometimes I just order one to enjoy off the tap. If you've never been, do yourself a favor and try one of the best pizzas in the city!

I used to love this place years ago on Lincoln and dream about it when I moved away but coming back it just didn’t hit the same. It’s also just less value for what you get at Chicago style joints. Still it's a decent slice all things considered but don't think it makes the rotation
Lots of pizza variety but the reheated slices came out pretty bland and mostly tasteless (except for the Dijon pizza). Slices are large but a little pricey.
