Jimmy's used to be kind of a hole in the wall but has now upgraded to their location on Montrose. It serves DELISH true NY style pizza. As a New England native in Chicago, Jimmy's is the only reliable NY slice around. You won't be disappointed. That being said, its better to get a whole pie than a reheated slice for that perfect experience. Garlic knots are so tasty and their fresh marinara is the perfect addition- tell your spouse to beware of your garlic breath! Salads are great also! Wait times for a pie on weekends/nights is a little tricky but worth it! Dining in is great- lots of high tops and booths for all preference. I met Jimmy once and if I remember correctly, he IS from NY... so its definitely original!

Really great great pizza. It's a little on the pricey side for the signature pizzas.The Beignets are good I wish they were a little bit smaller but still solid. And easier than a trip to Louisiana.

the screaming, cartwheeling, jumping and running kids totally ruin the experience. family friendly does not mean McDonald’s play area. food is actually good, although pricey, but I can’t even hear my partner speak.

I just ordered a large pizza with fresh mozzarella and fresh basil. They charged me for the fresh mozzarella but did not put it on the pizza. Look at the pizza before you leave!

Great place to grab a single slice or a whole pie. Can get busy on Friday and Saturday nights. Since seating is take what you can get, might have to wait for a bit until a table is available. Very kid friendly ? I highly recommend the burrata squares when available. Grab a little hot honey too.Vegetarian options: Veggie, mushroom, and spinach pizzas

So happy to have found this place! Jimmy's Pizza sells NY style pizza by the slice. The crust is perfectly chewy and the pizza is honestly great! We tried the sausage and Margherita pizzas and they were delicious. It is really hard to find NY style Pizza in IL and this place hit the spot! I'll be back to try more!!

I eat here often. The food is good. It's a fun atmosphere. However, if I am paying upwards of $8 for a slice of pizza, just give me a side of ranch. I went up to ask for one and she quoted me $1.66. Annoying. Also my friend got one garlic knot and they wouldn't give her marinara. What's with the crazy sauce rules, guys?
