Hot dogs, polish dogs, and fries -- tasty but the fries are quite greasy. I enjoyed the meal and would return. Clearly one of those local places that has been around for years and is unique to Chicago and the neighborhood. Affodable. Filling.

Jimmy’s is fire. I appreciate the staffs and managers kindness to me even though I have autism and their food is amazing and really good. They cook the food fresh and ready to eat and they maintain the restaurant clean. Amazing hot dogs. Must come back. 10/10

Here is the problem..this place is cash only and only find out when I came in..I am not paying 350 to use your ATM..a hot dog and pop about 10.00 but 4 on top for ATM..u should be ashamed what your doing..stealing is the bottom line..tax dodge bullshit...never again

Typically we go into Jimmy's and get our food. Sometimes we're unable to and will use Ubereats. There have been issues with our order via delivery and the owner told us to contact her directly and she'll fix it, lately it's been better. Today we had an issue, ordered 2 hot dogs, extra onions, mustard and 4 peppers NO RELISH. We received the hot dogs, NO peppers AND WITH relish. We called the restaurant asked to speak to the manager, the female wasn't in, so we spoke to a male. He argued with us and told us we were lying. Avoided the fact that we said no relish and there's clearly relish on there. I told him we can send him pictures and he told us we could've easily removed the peppers. Again avoiding the fact that there was relish on there. He told us to take it up with Uber. I told him we did, I placed another order and was calling to ensure it's made correctly. Again he argued about the issue. We've been coming here for over 15 years and this is the FIRST time we've been greeted with poor customer service. And it's really sad, he refused to give his name when we asked. I'll call back when the female manager is there and speak to her about it.

The food here is a real junk food! You can get sick easily from eating here just warning you! The fries are bad and the hotdogs smashed and mixed with the fries burnt out! Feels like they don't care about you. I don't understand how people are giving good reviews maybe it used to be good before but now it's like a dog food! I regret eating from here

Ohoh not sure if it's a fluke but been coming here since the 70s and the same best hot dog time after time but this time the dogs tasted different and the fries kind of too fat and soggy , not slim crisp and fresh as always. Hope it's just a one off though

I was a Chicago Police Officer for 30 years, and this was the go to for late night and you need something to eat. Hot Dogs, polishes and the best fries ever! The grease on the bag is a clue to how good and bad it is for you! Police officers ALWAYS know the best places to eat!
