I am posting this a little late, but the experience was so bad I still had to take the time to write a review. I went here twice last week for a 3 piece mix and both times the chicken was over cooked and extremely tough. It felt like they make it earlier, dropped it twice and left it under a heating lamp for hours. I have gotten better chicken from 7/11 and that is horrible. The first time my request for extra lemon pepper was completely ignored, not that it would have helped the chicken. The fries were also bad, they were dried out and hard. I was extremely disappointed because I usually get good service and food from this location, but last week was NOT a good week for them.... Despite this I will probably be back before the end of the year, but if it's a third strike I will never return.

JJ is one of the great spots for late night munchies in The Loop. It’s open until 4:00 am on Fridays and Saturdays, and the fried fish is terrific.

I asked if the catfish fillet was real catfish. He stated no, it’s swai. So my husband and I ordered, wing meal n gizzards meal. I e waited a good 10-15 mins. Well the chicken as really good. They piled them gizzards up! They were so hard n dry. Old! Was not worth the money. My teeth started hurting! Trashed the food. We ordered late night and went to our room to eat. Waste of money.

Not sure what they sprinkled on the top of the chicken, but overall, the chicken is pretty juicy. Unfortunately, the french fries are very oily. No free dip or sauce.

The seller was too busy on the phone and its expected service we would get in this area. Not a very clean for dine-in. But again, the chicken is juicy!

Fish was dry and hard to chew! Chicken was undercooked. All for 18 bucks...there are way better chicken joints. This wasn't it.
