This review is well past due. I’ve avoided leaving it in hopes for a different experience. If it weren’t for the convenience of location and online order I wouldn’t eat here despite my enjoyment of the spicy tuna. In the last year I’ve visited this place about ten times and service is nonexistent. Specifically when the younger gentleman with glasses and a cap is present. He has the personality of a sloth and should not be in direct contact with the public. A hello or any acknowledgement is too large of a task for this person. Every encounter I’ve had leaves me questioning why I patron this place. Today I placed a pick up order and when I expressed my gratitude to said gentleman I was met with a dead stare. This place has been inspiring me to make more home-made lunch meals.

Yesterday on 9.16.24 was my first time entering Joe and the juice. I was super excited to go in an order a tunacado and power shake . From moment I walked in seemed like a pretty good atmosphere until I stood there for about 5 minutes confused on how to order. I then asked a employee how To order he said right here removed gloves took my order but from the moment of the gentleman taking my order I could feel he wasn’t in the best mood and he wasn’t friendly which instantly changed my mood. I spent $27.00 on a shake and sandwhich and I was disappointed with the treatment not friendly why not I asked questions pertaining to the app an the gentle man answered quickly but the kicker to the experience was him not being friendly. Which is an issue for me because we need establishments to have friendly and good customer service I will never return to this location due to my first encounter. Which I want to know why do I have to feel like the staff is not being nice on purpose for whatever that reason might have been unsure if I was asking questions or making him stop making app orders to place me an my sisters orders we then dined outside enjoyed our sandwhiches I didn’t care for milkshake an was to annoyed to even ask them to remake because it was like bad energy.

I love the protein shakes and juices! I've Uber'd Joe's multiple times. When I'm in River North for work I usually stop by. They do a lot of to go orders so order ahead, the wait time can be over 15 minutes during the day. The staff can come across annoyed and aloof at times so do yourself a favor and order ahead.

I don’t know what happened to this place. I’ve been coming here for years but the last several months the service is simply atrocious.
There’s people chatting in the back while no-one is working and there’s tons of customers. People have walked out. I’m stuck waiting over 20 minutes because I ordered on the app.
Adding to it is some of the staff are really not nice. And seem to be angry.
Whoever is managing this place needs to go back to whatever they were doing before.
I’ll be skipping it for a while.

Very poor service. I ordered food and was told by purple hair server it will be 15-20 minutes. After patiently waiting, I asked after 30 minutes if my order is ready? She said it will be 10 more minutes. I thought May be they’re taking care of previous orders, but that was not the case. After 40 minutes, I asked how come the lady who came after me has been given her food but not mine. After 50 minutes of my wait they told me oh we are out of chicken. That was so frustrating, they failed to communicate that with me. and on top of that they were giving me such a bad attitude like it was my fault of ordering it in the first place. The most Terrible experience I have ever had. So disappointing!!

food was great. but one of the men working was extremely predatory and made me very uncomfortable. he hit on me while i was paying and i think i saw him hit on another group of girls who came in after me while i was waiting. i can’t imagine how the young female staff members feel. please curb your employees.

I really want to like this place because there always seating for me to come work, however I always feel there’s a lack of Customer service here. Barely get a hello. Sometimes you’re just standing there waiting for someone to eventually ask you about ordering.

service is terrible, they never give a proper bag whenever I mention I want to get the order to go. The guy just handed our sandwiches in a napkin when we specifically mentioned we would like it to go. Dont bother tipping.
