Excellent food, very delicious. The owner and waitstaff could not be any nicer. They have ample seating and even a tiny bar area! I definitely recommend you stop in and grab a bite if you are in the neighborhood. Better yet, it's worth a special trip!

First, I realize it was Mother's Day, so the place would be slammed, but that means you should be on your game. I made a reservation for 11 4 weeks ago, confirmed it twice. We were celebrating Mother's Day, my eldest son's birthday and my 70th Birthday. Drinks came fine, appetizers came out fine, and then things started falling apart. 6 adults - 4 ordered salads, 2 ordered soup. Salads pretty much came out together - no soup. Server comes by apologizing, says she is working on it. More time goes by, she come back and says they are all our of minestrone. At 6:30 pm? Says she'd box up a salad to go, which never materialized. Then entrees start arriving - one son's came out, no one else's. He pretty much finished his by the time the other 5 came out. I did see the owner finally arrive and go into the kitchen, and that's when more food started coming out. Just no pacing to insure everyone got their food at nearly the same time. Meal was adequate - we had better a year ago there with a larger group. Just disappointing.

The restaurant is incredibly loud. Why in the world would a restaurant hire someone to sing and play the guitar with the amps blasting on a Friday at 6:30pm. No one could talk at the tables. Pizza is fair, thin crust is like cardboard. Asked for extra thin crust and seriously the crust was like a cardboard box. The eggplant stack could have been much better. All in all I will not be back.

The food was very good, service was also nice, although our server was very busy. The only real downside for us was the lack of window shades over the floor to ceiling windows, making us have to constantly shift to avoid sun right in our eyes. Other than that all was great.

Food service was ssslowwww and awful! 4 of us - one was served 15 minutes before the rest. He was finished eating before the rest of the food came out. Remaining entrees were served - fried shrimp were hot but the short rib pasta was cold. Must have been sitting there. Short rib pasta was also SO greasy. Love live music except when you cannot hear the people at your own table. Good aperol spritz. Good tossed salad. We were not asked if we wanted coffee or desert before bill came.
It was a wonderful night with my family meeting my son's girlfriend! Delicious food, wonderful live music. Perfect night!! Love Joe's been going here for 30+ years!

We took some friends here that had never been. We like this restaurant. Just a neighborhood place, great food, good service. Family friendly, kid friendly without catering to kids. Very comfortable and welcoming. Our friends loved it and said they would be back. It is one of our favorites.

Any chance we get, when we are in the area, we love to go to Joe's on Higgins. It's a casual place but a very nice atmosphere. The staff is excellent, especially Ashley, who has waited on us on several occasions. Very attentive and friendly. But everyone is wonderful there, as well. And wow, the food is excellent! There is not anything we've had that we didn't like. Everything is delicious. They also have take-out and a private room if you want to host a party. Highly recommend this restaurant!
