Everything you could want in a wine bar- fantastic list, not pretentious, incredible team. Seth, Abby, and Steven all genuinely care about their guests and are passionate about wine and service. This is hands down the best wine bar in Chicago.
Best wine bar in the city. Great selection, delightful and knowledgeable staff, great food/snacks. This needs to be your neighborhood spot.

Eh. I had higher expectations unfortunately. Was looking forward for a midday wine and tapas with my wife, but we called it after one round. Establishment was super chilly, colder than outside to the point we left our jackets on. That just made the wood chairs and environment not cozy at all. My wife ordered a $26 glass of Spanish red which was very good but did have a lot of sediment which can be expected in a 10 year wine but can be better mitigated. The terrine was good but too cold. Takes away from flavor when served too chilled. The house bread you can do better, it was not good bread especially with the good olive oil it came with. Lastly, not the establishments fault but there was a group of older patrons that were so loud and obnoxious and at times vulgar. Likely the cause of excessive consumption but sealed the deal to move on. Would give them another try regardless.

Came here on a Tuesday with my family (three of us). We came around 5pm.
It was pretty empty, and we were able to get a table outside.
I got a sparkling wine, and my partner got a tea. We got my child a lemonada soda (although we had to ask again to get it).
We also got sparkling water for the table and the server accidentally filled our glasses while walking by with still water. Not too big of a deal but it was gross when they mixed.
We got the hummus crudité, it came with 2 largely cut pieces of French bread and a couple radish slices and a 2 cucumber slices.
Overall it was fine, nothing special. Service was average.
