Two more words: FAKE CHEESE. Had to try it so I did. Waste of time and money. It's bland and they're not even using real cheese you can tell by the taste. Not sure who's buying this but not me.

i ordered a large buffalo chicken mac and cheese the first time i recieved cheesey bread so i ordered again because it was my first time here and wanted to support the business even called and asked to make sure i got it the second time i ordered it just for them to play in my face because they are about to close. they obviously don’t want my money and they were a waste of time would never recommend this place to anyone i should have listened to the people who told me don’t go here.

We were visiting from out of town and had it delivered; it arrived quickly, well wrapped, warm, and with all the utensils and napkins we needed.
We ordered the garlic shrimp mac and cheese, fried mozzarella sticks, and a shake. The garlic shrimp on the Mac and cheese was really good; buttery, large pieces of garlic, and not over cooked. Unfortunately, we did not like the mac and cheese. The noodles were cooked well. But the sauce was like the velveeta shells and cheese sauce; very processed and one dimensional. My daughter did not finish it and said Kraft mac and cheese would have been better. The garlic bread that came with it was good, especially when dipped in the nice marinara that came with the mozzarella sticks. The mozzarella sticks were good; nice thick chunks with a good coating. The shake was also good; my daughter liked that it came with a thick straw.
Overall, it was good, but for a place that specializes in mac and cheese, I was hoping for really good mac and cheese. We probably won't go back next time we are in town, but if we do, it would not be to curb a craving for mac and cheese.

They stop serving food 30 mins before they close only ice cream. I got there at 10:38pm. Why not just shut the doors 😐.

The people at Joey G’s have always been great, the food is great! I always get the patty melt and fries and I love it. Fries are surprisingly amazing. I have to call in my order to pickup instead of order online because I like to add bacon to my patty melt, and that option isn’t available on their apps. Sometimes when I call they seem too busy to take my call, so I’d highly appreciate if they could put that bacon add on in their apps so I don’t have to bother anyone! Leaving this here because I don’t know where else to leave it. Thank you always!

Came to Chicago for a work trip and got to sneak away to catch a metal show up the road from Joey G’s. Being from Seattle, I showed up way too early, so I figured I’d stock up on some Italian Beefs before drinking a million beers. Best decision I made!

The food? Killer. The Italian Beef was perfect, and I’ll be thinking about it long after I’m back in the PNW. But honestly, what made the stop was Joey himself. He happened to be there, sat with me while I ate, and was just an all-around awesome guy—super fun to chat with and made me feel at home.

If Joey ever opens a spot in the Pacific Northwest, I’ll be first in line and probably his #1 customer. Until then, every trip to Chicago will include a stop at Joey G’s Mac n Cheese. Great food, great vibes, and an owner who cares about the people who walk through the door
