I have to start by saying the staff is amazing they make you feel welcomed and appreciated. We stopped there after a real bad experience with Anne and the manager over at village tap. Their drinks are good and the food is delicious.
There is nothing extraordinary about John's place. The food is typical American, with lots of carbs and no flavor. The coffee is okay, but nothing outstanding. The waitress was a little pushy to keep tables moving, although the place was empty. I do not recommend Johns.

We have dined at John's Place many times and thoroughly enjoyed it. This review refers to their catering. We recently chose John's Place to cater our event and the food was delicious! Often, I find event catering doesn't hold up while sitting out or is overly fussy and difficult to eat. I also find many caterers push quantities that are way above what is really needed. John created a menu that tasted just as delicious when it arrived as it did when the last guest...
