Valet parking $16, $17 if you pay with credit card. My friends and I had a great time eating great food and having fun. The glass they bought me was visibly dirty. The people service was good. It could have been cleaner. The lobster Mac & Cheese was good and there was plenty of large lobster in it. The brunch chicken & waffles were terrific. Sweet corn bread was so small, dry and overpriced $5. Kool Aid was not good!Parking: Valet $17 with credit/debit. $16 cash.Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly at all. This place is for adults!Wheelchair accessibility: Small place, but they would be able to accommodate.

They do not take call-ins. You are forced to navigate and order through over priced 3rd parties like uber eats. Lazy way of doing business during inflation when customers have to pay extra to order pick up.. Do I get a service charge for driving 20min?

The server was taking personal calls, all on her phone etcShe even sat down at a table and was talking idk if she know them. She didn’t explain the menu or anything. Didn’t tell us about happy hour. Didn’t do nothing , had us seat ourselves . Didn’t interact fr so a 20% automatic gratuity is crazy ($34) seeing that she didn’t even do anything to even get the tip fr fr .The food was good tho I had jerk chicken wings with macaroni and asparagus. The jerk chicken tacos was good too. We ordered a second round and waited 30’mins just for them not to be the right tacosNo apology, no urge to make things right etc it was a mess. Wouldn’t be back. Love supporting our people but it be too much with them sometimes fr somePeople treat it like anything. The place reeked of bleach smell like they be over cleaning. The space is already small .

Drove from South Bend, IN specifically to eat here. The experience was very mid for the price of food. The Oxtails were very bland. The manager said so herself AFTER I brought it to her attention and she went back to taste them! Came back to the table and agreed, but NEVER made it right! Didn’t even offer to!! Just asked me if I wanted to purchase something else….after I’d already spent $130.?? Macaroni & cheese tasted like Panera Mac. Jerk Lamb chops were great, but came out so late. The actual server was great and agreed that something should’ve been done, but he personally couldn’t do anything, which I understand! Don’t get me started on the dirty bathroom…. I hate that. So yeah, I definitely won’t be back. Had it been made right, I would’ve considered!

Made the drive from South Bend, IN after hearing about this spot on social media. Our server was very attentive and responsive.Most of the food we ordered was just ok. However, the oxtails were VERY bland. The manager and the chef tasted them when it was mentioned that they were flavorless. The manager in conversation said yes the pieces she tasted were bland but would not accommodate by removing them or simply replacing with another item. She basically said that’s how that batched tastes and she and the chef thought they were ok as is and that is how they are supposed to taste and left it at that.So basically she did not do anything to ensure the experience was excellent.Additionally, the one unisex restroom was not clean.I wouldn’t go out of my way, like I did this time, to eat here again.

Jordyn put their soul into this food, i pretty much died & went to heaven in every bite. I got the fried catfish, baked mac & cheese, candied yams, lamb chops & cabbage. Even delivered by uber eats everything was still fresh & crispy. 10/10 will always recommend
I did a Uber eats order. Lamb chop dinner w/ potato salad & green beans. Bogo 3 Jerk tacos. Deviled eggs. Fried green tomatoes. Sides of yams & spaghetti. The lamb chops were tender and the green beans were a little on the salty side but they were good apparently they didn't have any potato salad because there was an empty spot in the tray. That's a problem for me because I paid additional money for sides when they could have comped one of the sides I purchased because they knew they didn't have potato salad or they could have called me and notified me that they didn't have potato salad. I believe that's what good customer service is. The yams were mushy and the flavor wasn't the best in my opinion and the spaghetti wasn't good to me because I don't like sugar in my spaghetti. It was too sweet. I got the jerk chicken taco dinner for my dad he wasn't too fond of it because it was so dry. I got fried green tomatoes for my sister and she said they were okay. The deviled eggs were too sweet. They put too much sugar in them. Overall the only thing that wasn't nasty were the lamb chops. Everything else. Blah.

Finger-licking Delicious, but expensive. Everything we ate was Sooo Good. And our Drinks were perfection. We sat at the bar, so it was made right in front of us.The empanadas,ox tails and short ribs were all divine ( and we will be having them again!).It's a beautiful decor. It is a small space so there will probably be a wait, but it is worth the wait!It is Pricey, especially for Soul Food, but we're still going back (cuz it was Good).[I'm allergic to cornbread, but my Love says it was Really Good]

We came shortly after opening and there was a small wait, no problem but once seated at the table nearest the bar (not an ideal spot if crowded! Just imagine someone's bottom would be in the direction of your food, in addition, you would have to wait for that person/people to move to get up from your seat to get from the other side of the table) the 1-star is for the dirty table including the old stained A1 steak sauce bottle and the hostess. Possibly this was a bad opening day...

We were in town visiting and wanted to try soul food. Although they were out of a couple of items the food was AMAZING and made up for the slow service. I had the ox tails, greens, mac and cheese, yams and corn bread and when I say it was fresh, seasoned right and good. My husband had the fried chicken and it was great also.
