Ohh weee do not have nothing on this southern soul food joint here. When I say everything was on point, the flavor, and that gravy baby they definitely got them a regular customer. Absolutely fire! We have been meaning to try this place and I'm glad we finally did! We will be back! We ordered Catfish & Grits, Chicken & Waffles, Collard Greens, Yam, and Mac n Cheese. Loved everything. Especially the Catfish and greens! But all of it was seriously so good!
Pot roast empanadas were excellent! The shell super light and crispy and the gravy dip perfect.
Had the oxtail dinner with collards and mac n cheese as my two sides. Oxtails were so flavorful and tender they fell off the bone. The collards were well-balanced and also very tasty. The corn bread delish.
Would have been a 5 stars had it not been for mac n cheese which was slightly under-seasoned and not as soul-full as the rest of the meal. Peach Cobbler...
