I placed an order with Joseph's Bar & Restaurant. I received a confirmation email and pick up time. When I got to the restaurant it was packed. Waited 20 minutes to see the Hostess. I told her that I was there for a pick up to which she responded that there were no pick up orders. I showed her my order number and the transaction on my cc. Waited 20 more minutes for her to go research what could have possibly happened. Bottom line was they were not taking orders and there must have been a glitch in their system. I am sure there was no glitch when they charged my cc $87.00. Worst service ever!! I wonder why their last day is on Sunday???? I wonder why???
Ordered the Blackened Salmon dish was tasty l've had much better risotto. They need help with the wedge salad. It came with carrots, red onions u had to pay extra for the blue cheese crumbles. It was a full meal no wedge in site. Good price for wine.
Very intimate place. Food was great. We will be back.

A very great experience as the food was superb and finally, a place that gives real, tasty portions that are perfectly priced. We adored the atmosphere and service was great.
Deliriously stuffed after tonight’s dinner. The lasagna was delicious as usual. Portions are so generous, that I’m pretty sure I still have enough for two more meals. My son, who eats more than any other human I know, ordered the kids’ chicken fingers and fries and couldn’t finish it all. Fabulous dinner. Make sure to visit this neighborhood gem!
Good place. There girl chef cook's a hell of a steak.
Excellent Italian cuisine… the calamari appetizer is out of this world… nice friendly bar with quite of few regulars
Ordered lasagna with salad & 2 grilled chicken sandwiches. Everything was hot & ready when I got there and food was delicious will return and recommend.
Food was great, service was slow. Server did not seem knowledgable when I asked about menu items. Good portions.

My husband and I was there on Friday night. We waited 20 minutes before we got water and bread. Others who came later was served first. We only got served because I complained. The food I ordered was lobster ravioli. It was so salty and horrible. I couldn’t help but think it was done purposely because I had complained. This was always our go to restaurant but now I’m reconsidering. I left disappointed.
Had a little mixup with our phone/computer order tonight but all is fine. Owner called us back and explained everything. It happens. We will definitely be back. Great neighborhood place with great food!
Shrimp pasta was not actually a lobster cream sauce at all... Just a butter sauce. The gnocchi were definitely not homemade.
First of all, we are from the neighborhood, less than a mile away, and we have frequented this location for over 40 years.... the name has changed, and the quality has gone up and down. Judging from last night, the new owners (3 years?) have really taken this place to the next level! We were impressed last night! We all know, going out now can be tricky, and in the neighborhood that Joseph's is located, the great majority of the food establishments do not follow the mask mandates of the state, which is sad, cause I am pretty sick of this pandemic. Well, Joseph's does. Well, it's workers do... wait staff, bartender, cooks, bussers, etc. The majority of the patrons, sadly, did not last night, and this is really a shame. We are only asked to wear a mask coming in, and when we stand up to leave the table... which, is not a lot. The staff has to mask up the entire shift!!! So, thanks, Josephs! Now, for the food. We have not been here (due to the pandemic) for almost 2 years. Two years ago, we were not thrilled with the food, but we knew the owners were working on it. Well, they really mastered their craft. We had the blackened salmon and chicken parm sandwich (asked to have it blackened too, not deep fried). Both were outstanding. The cream of chicken rice soup was really delicious, and the fries were great also, The loaf of bread put on the table before dinner is the best bread we have eaten at this location (and like I said, we've been coming for over 40 years). The asparagus was really tasty, just a little overcooked... but, like I said, really tasty. Peppermint martini and blue christmas one delicious as well (I would have really loved a little more shaking so there would be foam on top, but I am sorta picky). The beer was cold, nice! Wait staff really skilled, but they have always been so at this location. Bottom line, we recommend having dinner here soon! Good luck to the not-so new owners! You deserve it!
We live in the area and decided to try this place out. Let me say that the manager was friendly and so was our waitress. However, our experience was not the best. We started with the sausage and peppers appetizer and it was undercooked, when we cut into the sausages they were literally pink on the inside. The manager took it back and gave us a new order which was cooked and it was tasty. My fiancee ordered the lasagna and it is very big portion. Again, he cut into it took a bite and the middle was ice cold. We again informed the manager and she took it back to the kitchen. The manager was very apologetic and was gracious enough not to charge us for the lasagna and appetizer and we also got a free chocolate cake.
