Trying to enjoy a meal with my partner, kissed him on the hand, and the owner took the time to stop by and tell me it was not appropriate for a family establishment. This homophobic restaurant does not deserve your business.

When I eat someplace that has awesome food, I gotta write about it. The food comes out blazing fast...everytime. Iv'e been here a few times and every time within 10mins the food is out and I'm usually with a group of buddies so its never a single order. Service is exceptionally fast. The lady at the counter is friendly and welcoming. As is the cook. Main thing, the food is great. Iv'e had a few items on the menu, my favorite being the crispy buffalo chicken wrap. Not only are the food portions good, they taste awesome, Plus you can't beat the fact that its zabiha halal and near downtown. Great job guys, keep it up!

Really good quality meat especially for a hole-in-the-wall fast food type of place. It's not phenomenal in terms of ambiance but it's really good value for the dollar. I don't think there's any place on Taylor street that gives you this quantity of great food for the price. My Greek salad w/ chicken was seriously amazing. I've had Greek salads of this caliber for up to $8 more in price--and I'm crazy about Greek dressing and this one was off the wall.

Not sure why this place has such good reviews. When you walk in you are greeted with the mustiest moldiest stench, u don't smell anything cooking. That was a big turn off. We ordered the chicken gyros, the sauce tasted mayonnaise-y it was very small and the chicken was some sort of imitation chicken gross. The steak wrap was not edible just horrible had like a sweet after taste and weird sauce.

OOOO MMMM GGGG!!! This place is LEGIT!! So good that I blamed myself for not getting two chicken pita gyros. I went here because I was craving for gyros and my husband sent me to this place because the parking was probably easier than going to Greek town. I mean, having three kids with you is not easy, you just want to grab the food and go. It literally took them 15 minutes to prepare my order. I ordered chicken shawarma plate, chicken pita gyro, and two baklava. Added two large fries and two brownies when we picked up the order because my kids smelled fries when they walked inside the restaurant. And let me just say again, OMG!! IT WAS SOOO GOOD! Just a bit note, the baklava was good but it was really tiny. It was like a bite size baklava. And again, I wish that I got more than two. I will definitely go back here! **no pictures because we finished all the food within minutes**

It's a hole in the wall, mom and pop place with quality food and friendly service. The owners are honest and do business with integrity. I can't tell you how many times they have thrown in complimentary items as an appreciation for our loyalty. Now keep in mind that this isn't the kind of restaurant you patronize if you're looking for ambiance and experience. It's a place you go when you want good food, and fair prices (for the area all considering it's one of the few halal places near the Medical District). Their gyros are not to be missed and their grilled chicken breast is also a favorite. Actually, we always have a hard time deciding what we want to order because we like so many of things we have ordered in the past. I'm glad that places like this exist and I hope that Jubrano's stays a staple for the students at UIC and residents in the area.

Kind of a hole in the wall place near the Medical District that offers a decent variety of gyro fusion dishes. ATMOSPHERE/ARCHITECTURE: 7/10 Pretty spacious inside, seats probably 20-25 people. The scenery isn't really that impressive to be honest. SERVICE : 7/10 I felt that it was fine and had no problems with service here. The manager was happy and I got my order without any hitches. I came in at a time where I was the only person there. FOOD: 9/10 Now this is where my initial apprehension upon stepping in here was put to the test. This place did not have an impressive ambience at all to be honest. I ordered the gyro cheeseburger and mozzarella sticks. Gyro Cheeseburger - This is damn amazing. The fusion of the Tzatziki sauce with mayo and ketchup with the burger and gyro has to be one of the most delectable combinations I have had on a burger in a long time. It was amazing. I don't think I have ever had a gyro dish done this well. The gyro meat itself was average but the dish together was spot on. Get this if you come here, 100%. Mozzarella Sticks - Nothing impressive. I was just hungry for some cheese so I got them. Not something really to order otherwise. PROBABILITY OF RETURN: 8/10 I definitely have cravings for this place's gyro cheeseburger every now and then. I'm kind of hungry now thinking about it... TO EAT OR NOT TO EAT: Go eat the gyro cheeseburger, you won't be disappointed. OVERALL: 8/10

Finally tried this place. Yum yum yum. Hard to find a decent gyro at an even decent price these days. Honestly the gyro is nothing revolutionary which makes it a winner. Its an old stand by and Jubrano's does it well. (I will go back for the gyro cheeseburger) Now this is just a place that serves food, not a place that serves experiences. It's faster food basically but I was really jones-ing for a gyro yesterday.

This place is always really good and the people who run it are super nice and friendly. Their gyros are just delish.

I have so far ordered food from here for delivery only. Its better than other halal fast food options in the area however could be better and definitely not worth the prices that they are charging. I like their chicken sandwiches. Beef is ok. Wings and mozarella sticks are too salty.

This spot is a gem in Little Italy. I always order the chicken kabob sandwich (with extra tahini!), and I've heard from friends that their entire menu is delicious. They are so sweet, and always remember me when I walk through the door. I can't recommend this restaurant enough!

Holy burgers! Well, all I can say is, I was blown away! I was really hungry and I was in the mood for a burger and read some great yelp reviews about Jubrano's so I decided to check them out. They are located in University Village, right on Polk Street. Street parking is available but this place is also accessible via pink line or blue line. Anyways, I went around 12:15 and it wasn't crowded at all yet. I told the cashier that it was my first time there and that I was torn between a cheeseburger and a gyro cheeseburger. She suggested getting the gyro cheeseburger, "that way you can have the best of both worlds"- at that moment I had no idea how accurate she was. The only thing that slightly bothered me is that my receipt just showed a total of $9.02 cents but it didn't list how much the burger or the soda was and between the online menu found on yelp and the actual menu at the shop, there's price ranges. It would have been nice to know what I was being rung up for. I waited about seven minutes before I got my order and I was just really surprised by the size of the burger! On the bottom was the cheeseburger with tomatoes, onions, ketchup and mustard and then there was a piece of lettuce and on top, gyros with tzatziki sauce. I didn't even know how hungry I was until I saw the burger! I was even more surprised that I was able to "delate" the burger down just a notch so that I could take a bite. However, I ate the whole thing and it was soooo good! The burger was juicy and the oil dripped off of it. However, considering the placement of the ketchup, mustard and tzatziki sauce, the sauces didn't mesh so you literally tasted a cheeseburger and gyro at the same time! The onions and tomato were not too large but perfectly cut. You know how sometimes the onions and tomatoes are cut just a little too thick and then it takes away from the meat? Not this burger, this burger tasted absolutely heavenly! I tried a piece of the gyro alone and I don't think I've ever tasted fresher or better quality gyro in my life! I cannot wait to come back here and try more things on the menu!

I had a pretty decent Chicken over Pita at Jubrano's. It was tasty and was a satisfying lunch meal, but was a little overpriced compared to what I expected to pay. Overall, the quality of the meal was about average.

Ordered through YelpEat 24, got a buffalo chicken wrap that tasted NOTHING like buffalo chicken. I don't know if the owners have ever had buffalo chicken before, but that is not it. I contacted YelpEat 24 service who spoke to Jubrano's who insisted that the customer was wrong and refused to refund me. This was a terrible experience with both YelpEat 24 and Jubrano's.
