The maki rolls were delicious and the sashimi tasted very fresh. Also was impressed by the sauce on the edamame. Definitely was a little on pricier side, but for good sashimi it was worth it. I’d come back for more of the rolls for sure. Our server was very kind and patient as well. Staff was friendly.
Used to come here all the time. Idk what happened, the quality of fish was good, but it tasted like they didn't dress or treat the nigiri pieces up to their past standards. Given how expensive it gets, the value just wasn't there compared to momotoro, sushi dokku etc
Truly some of the best sushi in Chicago. I am gluten free and they take my allergies super seriously. Don't forget dessert! I had the mochi brownie and it was like ending the meal with a warm, comforting hug. Perfect spot for date night, impressing an out-of-town guest, or catching up with friends!
