Amazing food & service! Thank you Chicago♥️

Food took a long time to be ready.

For a group of five they gave us a tiny pitcher of water we had to practically beg for them to refill.

When we finally got our food there was a lot of it and it was decent.

I was happy with the food but this restaurant is severly being held back by the service

This is meditaranin restaurant located at Lawerence and Kedzie in Chicago my old town, I used to leave in this area in 1978 - 88,. The area hasn’t changed much since then. I order vegetarian plater. Humans and Babaganouse were the best and everything else ere just OK. Place was fairly clean. That do have free parking in the back of rasturents but not enough. Cost of the food was ok. They added some service charges to my bill, I wasn’t happy about it.

Solid neighborhood place! We will be back! The baklava is really good! I loved the tea and the dill rice is great! Highly recommend!

I ordered take out and while the beef and chicken were very tasty, I was disappointed that they didn’t include some kind of sauce. It just felt a little dry. The pita was also not warmed up at all which made it feel hard. I also paid an extra almost $5 for the cranberry polo rice which ended up just being the basmati rice with a bunch of dried cranberries thrown in. I personally think it’s silly to upcharge something like that when there is no charge for the basmati rice. I know it sounds like I had a bad experience, but the chicken and beef were delicious, the rice was good, but I was expecting more- at least some sort of sauce, warm bread and a bigger difference in the rice if they are to charge so much more. Would definitely go back and eat in the restaurant to see how different it would be.

The staff exhibited a surprisingly unfriendly demeanor throughout my visit. They often spoke in a curt manner, lacking the warmth and politeness typically expected in a customer service environment. Their body language further conveyed a sense of disinterest, as they seldom made eye contact or offered assistance unless explicitly prompted. This overall atmosphere of rudeness made the experience quite unpleasant.

My first time here
Appetizer platter wasn't tasty at all and Food too far too be fresh
Baba Ganoush was spoiled and gassy
Ask server to check and he came back confirming and ask if I want to replace it with hummus

Good food but I’ve been coming here for so many years and there are so many additional charges now. I’m not sure it’s worth the price anymore

I was there recently and the service was not very good. I only ordered food and they took extra from me. Although I walk constantly.
I asked him back, he said as an excuse, if I pay with a card, an emergency commission will be charged. Okay, 10% tax, but not 20%. It’s just a shame when your balance is already at zero and they do this to you 😒

Very over rated, poor service every time. They don’t get the bread and table condiments unless you request twice or thrice and mostly you get it by the time you finished half of your food.

I was introduced to Kabobi by my brother and I'm sad I didn't know about this place sooner.
We had falafels and finished off with pistacho & mango ice cream with baklava.
The home hot sauce on the table was phenomenal that between the 4 of us, we almost finished the entire thing.
I ordered the lamb kabob with Persian dill rice.
My husband ordered the steak and chicken thighs with cranberry basmati rice and OMG BECKY... it was literally culinary nirvana.
The service is hella prompt and the staff is so nice.
There is a gentleman who walks around advertising the hot sauce, and we believe he's the owner.
I've served before and it's refreshing to see someone who doesn't feel they're beyond assisting their staff with running food, bussin tables, and interacting with the guests.
There were 3 birthday celebrations there and the entire room clapped for each person every time. The energy is something I've never experienced in a restaurant before
This place is AMAZING!

I have never seen such a disappointing Ash Reshteh in my life. The sabzi was tasteless, the Kashk was insufficient, and for some reason, the Ash had a yellow color. We also ordered Sultani and Musir yogurt, both of which were just mid. The service and atmosphere felt more like a self-service at school than a restaurant. Overall, I was quite disappointed.
