This vegan restaurant was good but I did leave a bit underwhelmed. I did have really high expectations going in & wish that they would have met them fully. We went last Friday night & there was only one person in the entire restaurant when we walked in (that was picking up an order). There was no staff anywhere to be found, so we just sat at a random table. I do wish we would’ve had real menus to look at, instead of our phone. It felt a bit too casual. Thankfully a small family came as we ordered so we weren’t the only ones eating in there. They were out of the two appetizers that I was looking at & also the veggie burger that night. The cauliflower wings were the best thing we had. My boyfriend got their house burger & it was fine. I got the oyster mushroom wrap & it was good but a little greasy and the sauce didn’t really go with it. I should’ve probably got the buffalo tofu wrap - that was my fault. It was just too much grease/oil with the fries & wings too. Lastly, the cake from pie pie my darling was OUTSTANDING…incredible. Our bill was about $90 (with tip & no drinks) & I did feel like that was a lot for what it was. Overall, it was good but I thought I would’ve loved it more. It was nice that they offered their brunch menu and their full regular menu. I appreciate how many unique options there are (and of course all plant based).

The rosemary potatoes were a highlight. We also enjoyed the breakfast burrito. Portions were a nice size as well.

No joke, this is the best dairy free broccoli cheese soup I’ve ever had. We also ordered the empanadas and the buffalo cauliflower, chef’s kiss.

I wish I had remembered to take photos of the packaging because it was thoughtfully labeled with little hearts, such a sweet touch. We ordered through Grubhub, and I called to double check that nothing would accidentally contain gluten since I have an allergy. They were incredibly patient on the phone and even checked with the chef to ensure our order was completely safe.

The food was amazing, and the care they took meant so much. I truly hope this business continues to thrive.

The garlic kale was inedible it was full of raw garlic pieces. The Italian seitan wrap and tacos were great. Empanadas and fries were too oily. Everything else at this place was excellent! Updated from previous review on 2025-12-12

I've been meaning to come here for a while, especially to support them after their generous offer during the SNAP shutdown.

I appreciate the variety of options, and we ordered way too much food. Fortunately, everything tasted really good even after reheating (mac balls & empanadas in the air fryer were perfect)

Disappointing experience. I live in Chicago where there are some very good vegan places. This place doesn’t really compare. I ordered a southern supper, oyster mushroom wrap, pina colada mocktail and a lacroix. Pros: The southern supper comes with a variety of items so you really have the opportunity to sample a lot of what’s on their menu opposed to purchasing ala carte. The pina colada tasted like a pineapple smoothie but was good. The kale is good. Cons: overpriced for what you get and quality. I paid 77 dollars which included a 12 dollar tip. My son did not eat his food. He normally loves fried cauliflower but these were really tasteless. Also, it was disappointing that they didn’t have a specialty sauce. That would have made the dish more enjoyable. You get ketchup, barbecue sauce and ranch. I had the oyster mushroom wrap which is one of their popular items. It was not good. It was also very dry and lacked freshness. I received no sauce on it or on the side. Missed opportunity. This wrap has potential but just really fell flat in terms of taste and expectations. The fries and Mac n cheese bites were also disappointing. Other issues were the wait time. There was only one server and they were not busy. Additionally, we never got utensils or napkins. Again, very disappointing.

I stumble across this resturant and I have been every since. I have been here two weeks in a row and even Google told me to make review to keep my streak going. Hopefully, I will be consider to be an ambassador or get a free meal. This is my three visit and the food is great. I never dined in because I'm always in a rush to beat traffic to get back out south. ❤️

Dined in to support this business helping SNAP recipients.

We shared nachos and a slice of cheesecake. Food was fabulous. Hands down the best cheesecake in the land of cheesecake.
