It's alright..nothing to rave home about. Pretty expensive for the portions you get. I also didn't like how the prices on the menu weren't correct, a dollar off from the actual price. They need to update that, I didn't bother informing the cashier because I don't want the hassle. You're paying close to $17 for a small sandwich and a side, not even a drink.

Kal’lish is delicious and has a wonderful selection of pastries! My favorite is there lavender lemon cupcake. I was also able to get a vegan birthday cake last minute from their freezer section!

I was waiting for a friend and chatted with Ryan who was working the counter. What a wonderful person. So friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Definitely an asset to Kalish.

Super delicious. Yeah it's a bit expensive but that's to be expected if everything is fresh AND vegan. I'm not planning to eat there every day. But as a treat it's soooooo worth it. Even if you're not vegan you should eat here. We had just about everything on the menu and each item was more delicious than the last. Next time we'll try to leave room to try some of those insane desserts. Only down side was they are not byob and they only offered a few cans of beer. No wine. Sad face. Make it byob and it's celebration time!

I finally got a chance to come to Kal'ish earlier this week for lunch. I had the fried fish sandwich and the cherry dessert and my partner had the fried chicken sandwich w the banana pudding. Sooooo freaking good! The fish sandwich was perfectly fried and very moist and accompanied with yummy veggies and a house made tartar sauce. The sandwich was perfect, but the tartar sauce did not have much taste to it, in my opinion. Both sandwiches came with a choice of side we both got the salad which had cheese, black beans, tomatos, cucumbers and homemade balsamic. The menu here at Kal'ish is extensive and I look forward to going back to trying more items!

One of my favorite vegan restaurants in Chicago. Food always tastes very fresh, all ingredients are homemade, fast service, yummy French fries, large side salads, and delicious entrees. The desserts are also always perfect.

It's difficult to say which offering is more incredibly delicious. We got there late this time. Ordered takeout and brought it home. The "Vegan vegan" sandwich is quite large and we got it with a salad - you need to know this side salad is as large as what other places sell as a main course, and it's more than just some mixed greens. See photos below. We got the chocolate cupcake with a cream filling. Moist. Perfect. This alone is worth traveling to Chicago. Seriously. Book a flight.Easily as good as the cupcake is our 2nd dessert: the "pop tart"

All I'm going to say about this place is this: OMGGGGGG SOOOOO GOOD!!!!! The food was great, the workers were better! My whole experience of just getting something quick to eat was blown away ❤️ def going back there if I'm ever in the area again!!

Would not recommend coming near closing or you might get a sandwich with moldy bread and sad lettuce. I was excited for their succotash on the side but it was missing. I guess they ran out.

We are absolutely in love with this place! Easily some of the best vegan food in the area. We've come here about 10 times by now and it's always fast and delicious. The vegan gyros are probably my favorite, and they have delicious vegan breakfast, which is super hard to find. Even their desserts are good! They are very generous with the portions too. The side salad is more than a couple bites and has a variety of ingredients, it's not just lettuce.Highly recommend you come check them out.

Their babaganush was delicious! The fatoush salad was bomb! Their falafel is uniquely uniform in shape and more dense than you might expect. I found the hummus a bit bland in flavor. Overall worth a try!

I haven't rated a restaurant in forever - but I had to give this place 5 stars! I've been vegan for 5+ years and have yet to try this place until today. We've been ordering from the same place for the past few weeks because I've recently had to go soy free for my baby. I noted that I need soy free food and to call if not possible. They called right away to tell me exactly what I could and could not have, were super accommodating and even thew in a free soy free cookie! It was awesome customer service and most importantly -- FOOD WAS DELICIOUS! Zero things to complain about here. Lots of food so I'm super full and satisfied. Thank you Kalish Team!

This is just an overpriced vegan place with a guarantee heartburn. Food is ok, nothing wow about it, quiet a few more options around to go.

Easy to find, easy to park and the food was good. I had the 'fish sandwich, French fries, broccoli salad and tomatoes soup [I had to try it]. Full disclosure, I'm an "any" eater but was with a plant based eater. French fried were plentiful and very good. Soup, very good and the toast that came with was 'buttery'. My sandwich was delicious. The bun was tremendous and made the sandwich. Have to have their homemade tartar sauce. I could have went lighter on that but it was really good. My friend had the 'chicken' sandwich and I didn't taste it. She ordered without onions but had to pick them off once we were at the table

Vegan sister recommended this location (non vegan gal here) Pastries were so delicious! The huge pop tart was my favorite. Couldn't believe they were vegan. Burger was okay. Definitely will try different sandwiches next time!I noticed a Mexican vegan restaurant next door that I'm excited to go. It was closed when I went. The staff mentioned it was the same owner. That means it will be yummy too!
