The second time around was a major disappointment and it did NOT exceed our expectations, from a one week span. The chef has definitely changed and the proof was in our meal and a big waist of money.We ordered crab cakes Benedict, Lorraine scramble and Chicken & Waffles to go. *(the waffles are very airy, not dense and overcooked chicken - was not enjoyable).The crab cakes were salty and crunchy and no herbs, flavorless potatoes and uneven proportions. The only saving grace was Adriana, she was very helpful and gave awesome customer service. Again, an overall disappointing brunch experience. Hopefully, Kanela's can bring back the experienced chef that once cooked with love with every bite.

Great breakfust/brunch spot. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The menu boasts an extensive selection, with generous portion sizes. A standout feature I noticed was their offering of vegan options. Despite the small space, the ambiance remains quiet, allowing ofr a relaxing breakfast experience.
Super cute decor and super delicious food! We had a great waitress who answered all our questions and was just so sweet and helpful all around.The Greek frappe was such a nice treat and I definitely recommend the breakfast burrito!

A Chilly Experience Warmed by Exceptional Service nonetheless.I recently visited your breakfast restaurant and, unfortunately, the ambiance was marred by an uncomfortably cold temperature. The dining area was noticeably chilly, which detracted from the overall dining experience.However, I must commend Manager Ceaser on shift during my visit. Despite the temperature issue, Ceaser went above and beyond to make our dining experience enjoyable. His attentive and friendly demeanor, along with prompt service, managed to create a positive atmosphere that somewhat offset the cold surroundings.While the temperature was a drawback, Ceaser's exceptional service deserves recognition for turning a potential negative into a more positive experience. I hope the restaurant addresses the temperature concern, as it has the potential to enhance the overall dining experience for customers.

Great food. I had the banana nut pancakes and the California Bendict, both were fantastic. The space is a solid size and the service was attentive. I also had a nice sized mimosa concoction it was quite good and reasonably priced.

After our incident with A Taste of Heaven, we had brunch at Kanela Breakfast Club. We were greeted warmly by Cesar, manager and our server. Our food was made to order and absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this place!
