Love Kasama! I’ve been back each time I visit the city and the breakfast is banging. I know the sandwich + hash-brown is iconic and a must try but their other food is equally as delicious. Would highly recommend ordering online to skip the line if you don’t plan to eat inside.

Was there at 9.45am on a weekday and there was a long queue outside the restaurant. Waited for an hour to get a table.Overall we enjoyed the food which was flavourful. The pastries were great. However being from Asia, I would not queue for an hour in the cold for this as we can easily get this quality of food back home and at cheaper prices.I would recommend the pastries which you can skip the queue if you are getting them to go.

My family and I went for brunch because we wanted to try Michelin-star filipino food. We waited 1 1/2 hrs in the freezing cold for sit-down dining. Once we got inside it was really crowded, which we expected due to the long line and everyone trying to get in from the cold weather. It was unorganized inside, but thats a given because it was crowded. For brunch, we got the lumpia, filipino breakfast and pork belly bowl.Unfortunately, we found the food underwhelming. The lumpia was bland and a little dry. The sauce helped with the dryness and added flavor. The rice was not really garlicky, and the mint and cilantro didn’t really work with the longanisa and tocino. Adobo was alright, but not really memorable. For drinks, we tried the ube latte and maiz con leche. They were both good, but were over-priced in my opinion, especially the maiz con leche.Their baked goods are really good; I highly recommend trying them if you are at Kasama.Overall, Kasama’s desserts are good, but it is not the best place if you’re in the mood for a filipino breakfast. The brunch menu is definitely more filipino-inspired, rather than celebrating or elevating filipino flavors. If you’re looking something more flavorful and easier on your wallet, I’d recommend Uncle Mike’s Place on Grand Ave.Perhaps the dinner menu is a different story, but I doubt we’d be coming back for brunch, just for the desserts.

Really good bakery. I’m not sure if it’s worth the wait but it was worth ordering in advance and taking the food to-go. We ordered a bunch of stuff but our favorites were the blueberry muffin top and the egg, cheese, and hash brown sandwich. Everything else was pretty good though and worth trying

I’d die for these pastries - they are so delicious and worth the wait! As a Filipino, I love the elevated take on the ube ensaymada. Masarap talaga!! We also got the mushroom adobo, and it was pretty good too. The ube lattes were SO GOOD! Probably my favorite part out of everything. Highly recommend, but you should arrive early to avoid the long line. Will definitely come back with my Kuya Miguel (if he ever comes home… D:)

The longanisa sausage might be the best thing I've ever put in my mouth. And get the apple hand pie.

Worth it if you’re down to practice patience! Went 10am on a Thursday morning and the wait was over an hour. I ended up ordering online on my phone, and waited outside for it to be ready.Idk how you could complain about wait times when everyone actually working inside is so friendly & attentive.Drip coffee was exceptional. Breakfast sandwich was simple but really delicious and very filling. Pastries are where it’s at!!! Cardamom kouign amann was my favorite.

Overall loved the atmosphere & service — arrived in line around 1130, made it inside to order around 12, but had to stand in their small waiting area that coincides with actual dining/pick-up area space. I knew the place was small to begin with, but shouldn’t allow numerous groups to place order only to wait to be seated an additional amount of time.Food:- Ube huckleberry basque cake was perfect!- Mango tart fresh - yummyFilipino breakfast combo - tocino and longonisa was fine, loved a bit of chard meat. However, the garlic rice was bland, no hint of garlic. Disappointing :/ Was very excited to try it out, though I figure the hype is for the tasting/dinner menu.Sesame latte — yummmmm! never thought i’d like sesame in a drink, but it’s goodOh hot yam —- yummmm :) just enough sweetnessOne thing I did love was the reaction time of staff - water filled, dropped my fork and as I turned around, new fork being handed :)I liked it, but not sure i’d come back.

Because of the high demand, the best way to eat food from Kasama is to order ahead and pick up when it is ready. Getting food for pick up may also require some additional waiting. The cinnamon bun and the ube/coconut pastries were okay, but the best thing we got were the breakfast sandwiches. The iced coffee as well as the corn latte were fine, but nothing spectacular.

We went on a Thu for brunch at 10:15am and there were at least 25 people ahead of us. Waited for 35min in the cold and so recommend you dress warm. Once they take the order at the counter we were made to wait for another 15min inside before we were seated. The food was worth the wait. Loved the Filipino breakfast plate. The sausage was awesome and so was the picked radish salad . I would definitely recommend the Mango tart, fresh mango that was sweet.Parking: We arrived at 10am on a Thu and were able to find street parking right in front. Noticed that there were two more available slots as well

Usually a line, even on weekdays. Came here with a friend on a Friday morning. This place is so worth the hype and wait. The meat was super flavorful and the drinks were top notch. The pastries were also really good. This place is truly worth of its 5 star ratings from me.Parking: No lot. Find parking nearby
