Was craving for some batchoy and their special batchoy was fire!! Very authentic Ilo-ilo batchoy 🙌🏼 The staff did a great job explaining how they prepare and serve the food. They also have pictures on each dish on their menu which is great for first timers or non-filipino customers.

Also, the staff mentioned that it is better to call them first if you’re planning to go there on the weekends as it might get very busy.

Delicious, fresh (I could literally hear them chopping the veggies for my order in the back) and well-seasoned food. I got the combo pancit and the shrimp wasn't overcooked, the pork was tender (not dried out). The place itself is cute and clean looking, good music and super friendly staff

It’s really nice to see a Filipino restaurant in the area since there’s not a lot of representation around the world. Staff is helpful and has good recommendations for sure.

My noodles and fried egg were so yummy! The service was fantastic as well. If I lived in Chicago I would make this a go-to spot.

Just tried this place and I'm very glad I did! The bagnet kare-kare with garlic rice was one of the most delicious meals I've ever had. Definitely will be back

My friends and I went here for lunch and we had a great experience! JT was super hospitable and gave us a warm welcome/introduction to both the restaurant's history and some insights into Phillipino food/culture. All of the food was hearty and delicious, with decent portions.

Dropping a review because the gentleman behind the counter said the place was under new management/ ownership. Food was amazing and staff super attentive and friendly. If you need to grab a bite on your way to the airport you couldn't do better than here.

Slight mishap with the online ordering, where my order was ready later than my scheduled pickup. But the food made up for it. Sisig had a bit too many onions for my preference but it was covered in chicharron which was nice. Kare kare was made well along with the crispy pata. Would come back to try more stuff. A nice alternative to my go to, Tita Mia. Much closer to me as well. 👍🏽

The Beef Caldereta was absolutely delicious. Unique and familiar at the same time. Honestly, best I've had. Don't tell mom.

Food was delicious, best ampalaya I've had in Chicago. Service was outstanding; our server was passionate and knowledgeable, introducing the food thoroughly. Very happy to have found this place!
