**PEOPLE WITH FOOD ALLERGIES BEWARE**

My roommate informed the server of her nut allergy before ordering! After over 40 minutes of waiting for the food (following a 20 minute wait in line to order), we received 2 out of 4 of our food items and had to go back to have them make the 2 missed items. Once home, midway through eating, she began to have an allergic reaction & found NUTS in the eggs benedict sauce. This was very scary as nuts were NOT listed in the ingredients for the food item, and the kitchen was made aware of this food allergy prior to ordering!!!

Additionally, there is no space to wait for to go items and we found ourselves constantly shuffling out of the way of people waiting to order as well as those big metal carts being used to push a few plates across the small dining space.

There is sooo much potential; the food & drinks are unique and SO GOOD!!! I suggest crossing off unavailable menu items as there were multiple food/drink items unavailable causing last minute decision changes (which is prob why the line takes so long....). The workers were friendly but also seemed kind of confused about some things (I asked for whole milk and she told me skim milk is whole milk....). Across the board, it appears service has been a large factor in negative reviews of this cafe, so hopefully you guys can take constructive criticism to improve! Although, based on the other snarky replies to reviews from the business owner, I'm not too hopeful about that...

Beware if you have allergies!!
I wanted to love this place. Service & design needs major improvement, but the food is good.

My friend informed the girl taking her order that she had a nut allergy, asked if her egg dish could be prepared separately and the girl did not care & was very dismissive.

I had a chocolate croissant and an iced chai for $16 which were both very good, but it did take 30 minutes to get my order which was kinda insane for one drink and a premade croissant. They were also out of a lot of things so I had to completely change my order at the last minute (wanted avocado toast and a banana milkshake originally). I’d recommend putting signage up so people in line can make other decisions.

Also the building is poorly designed for the flow of traffic. They had no ‘waiting area’ for to-go orders, so we had to keep shuffling and moving to let others through. They serve all of their dine in orders on big carts that customers have to bring to their table (even if it’s one plate) & having carts constantly going back & forth was extremely inconvenient.

Kazka City Cafe is a hidden gem! The brunch menu is creative and full of flavor, and everything feels fresh and homemade. The coffee is excellent, and the staff is welcoming and attentive. The atmosphere is cozy and perfect for a relaxed morning or afternoon. Prices are reasonable for the quality. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great brunch spot in the city!

Not only was the food overpriced, but the omelet and eggs Benedict were served cold and did not taste good. Of all the breakfast options in the area, I would not recommend this place. The cappuccino was pretty good.

Got their omelet and it was so flavorless I don’t even think they added salt - way over priced, bad service, unfortunately don’t have anything nice to say.

Syrnyky were soooo good! And I loved that they had a corner for kids so all the moms can have a few minutes to themselves. 🤗

Just visited Kazka City Cafe and loved every bit of it! I tried the pastrami sandwich with the sauce on the side. Honestly, the sauce stole the show. The mango-matcha and rose-matcha were phenomenal. And the chocolate croissant? So perfectly crisp and flaky. This place is a gem great food, stellar drinks, and a cozy vibe. Highly recommend!

Loved Kazka Café — cozy, stylish, and delicious! The pistachio croissant is absolutely amazing: perfectly flaky with rich nutty filling. And the rose matcha is a dreamy combo of matcha and gentle floral notes. Totally recommend 💚

The food and pastry here are elevated, tasty, and filled with details! The eggs Benedict was light and refreshing — it’s not the typical ones with heavy hollandaise sauce. It is more balanced and complex with the addition of pickled beets. I appreciate the contrast between the spinach, micro greens, soft comfy brioche bread, and perfectly creamy egg yolk. The smoked salmon seems house-cured and added great salt and texture. My friends ordered the sandwich and happy breakfast and liked those as well. The rose matcha was fragrant. The croissant had this cream on top that made it luscious, and the lavender cheese cake bar was unique! Interior is super cute!

I would come back again and try more food!
