Kennedy Fish & Chicken Takeout Review: Daytime Service Needs Improvement

I’ve been eating here for 10 years and Ordering from Kennedy Fish & Chicken during the day (12:00 PM–5:30 PM) is consistently a frustrating experience. While the food can be decent at other times, the service during these hours leaves much to be desired.

The staff taking orders in the daytime are often rude, and they seem uninterested in getting the orders right. Today’s experience was no exception—they didn’t prepare my food as requested and showed no effort to address the issue. Their customer service skills are severely lacking, which makes the experience frustrating.

As for the food, it’s hit or miss. The steak burritos are a definite miss—terrible flavor and overly salty. I can’t recommend them at all. However, they do a good job with the chicken, Italian beef sandwiches, gyros, cheeseburgers, and pizza puffs. These items are usually flavorful and satisfying, especially if you order in the evening.

If you decide to order here, I’d strongly recommend sticking to those menu items and waiting until nighttime when the cooks are more reliable and the service improves. Until they address their daytime service issues, I’d suggest avoiding this place during the afternoon rush.

Went to Kennedy's today November 17th of 2024, a friend of mine and I we placed an order for two orders of nachos one with no sour cream and no peppers and one with sour cream and peppers on the side the guy that takes the order Sam Hispanic young man messed up the orders we told him that we wanted also the butter cookies that was supposed to been two he didn't do that correctly right and when we told him his mistake he just going to stand there and lie and say that he didn't make a mistake this young man needs to be retrained or someone else needs to do take the orders because he cannot take orders also I use my card to make a purchase which I had $10 on the card his machine declined it but it's pending on my end when I told him about this he's telling me no instead of listening if he doesn't understand English he needs to go back and take an English class. And does not need to be around taking any orders.
