Kenny’s ribs chicken stony island

It’s a shame because the food itself is good. I would have liked more mild bbq sauce on my tips but that was a minor issue. The glaring problem with my mini tip meal was not the quality it was the quantity. If the cashier hadn’t been so nice to me during my visit there I would have brought the food back and asked for a refund because for $17 I literally got one mini hot link and 8-9 small thinly cut rib tips over about 15 French fries served in a 3x3in styrofoam container that is generally used for that half of sandwich that you have left from lunch and reluctantly decide take home knowing full well that you will most likely throw it away because there wasn’t enough food left there to even be called a snack. I was EXTREMELY disappointed in the portion size. I literally laughed out loud when I pulled the container out of the bag and thought to myself “this can’t be right” but when my hand could reach no further into the bag I came to the realization that there was no more food and was so shocked that I was at a loss for words. Unfortunately I cannot go back there because the tiny amount of food I was given for the amount of money I paid was simply offensive and I refuse to allow myself to ever be so foolish again. It was truly shameful.

My tips where very bony and had no meat . Not good!!

I ordered a rib tip dinner with Mac and cheese and yams, but I got was greens and yams.....they barely gave any rib tips.... more bones than rib meat..... the sauce was good but you got about 7 rib tips hugh bone pieces.... the sides were good just disappointed with portion size and more bone than meat..... boo ?

The fried Pork Chops were good but thin and small. The gravy on the side was too thick and half a cup. The rice and beans were ok not bad, the sweet potatoes were good and seasoned to perfection but they were mushy. Can’t complain to bad because the prices are very cheap comparable to other soul food places. It was 50/50 I would give 2 1/2 stars but they don’t have the option.

While each instance and experience is different, initially mine wasn’t the best. My order was improperly filled but the management of Kenny’s made it right.

The manager reissued my meal and apologized for the inconvenience. I appreciated the hospitality and sincerity shown by the staff. Thanks for all you do for the community.

The rib tips were very tough to eat. It lacked flavor seems like it was boiled first then put on pit to heat. No wonder it has such a low rating I tried to inform the manager but he said it wasn't tough. Well the low reviews speak for themselves

I always love coming to the city seeing my people. Hey when I say people I don't mean a color thing I just mean my people from the hood. Everybody was so nice this was my first time coming. And they even let me try a side order of yams for free. Get the hot turkey legs They are amazing. Matter of fact I think I'm going today ?

I ordered small rib tips cut small and small turkey tip. Terrible. For $19.99 each, it was Terrible, no sauce on the fries and the coleslaw was old. Terrible. Terrible. It doesn't deserve 1 star.

I ordered a mini rib tip and a mini tip and link.
The rib tips were so tough we could not eat them. The hot link was good and this is the only reason why we gave two stars. They were cut up in little tiny pieces and we just threw them away. I am so glad we did not order a large!

My experience was terrible I ordered takeout mini tips and chicken the chicken taste like fish don't know how often the oil is changed the fries tasted like a potato like they cut it and put it in BBQ sauce served it. After awhile I wasn't feeling well, sometime later I started throwing up. I use to love Kenny's but I think I will pass for now on. I tried supporting black business but some of you'll just not it sorry.

I ordered a small tip and lake with extra sauce on the fries and the tips I had at about a lease seven tips to dried up links and not a lot of sauce not happy will not be returning again. What a waste of money.I’m I am very unsatisfied
