Kens is a gem of the neighborhood. Ken's is unapologetically a steak house that vibes of the 1990s. It brings me great nostalgia to come here for dinner. The food is excellent with a nice variety. A range of steaks and fish, but also serves the ever popular beef stroganoff, ox tail, liver and onions, and pastas and many more. The desserts are homemade from scratch and so delicious. My friends and I sip martinis and delight in their relish trays while enjoying an experience...
We enjoyed our evening once again at Ken's. Our biggest critique was we had 630 reservations and weren't seated until 715-730. We were literally walking out the door to go somewhere else when we were told a table was opening and we could be seated. This would have been not as big of a deal if we could have gotten a drink at the bar but with only one bartender who was extremely busy we only were able to be served once in the 45 minutes. We would probably reconsider returning...
The young boys walking around constantly bugging you about taking plates before you are done. So annoying. Then they put there hands on your dish while before you agree to let them take it. The waitress stated they are to water also. I had to wait forever for the water. Before leaving these young employees almost caused a disaster while my 75 year old mom was packing her food by reaching over here to clear table. WAIT TIL DONE!!!
