Tonight (11/26/25) we ordered gravy and per the drive thru male employee, “only Taco Bell is open”. It was just past 11pm, the hours state KFC is open until 11:30pm. Pretty sure the employee simply did not want to prepare gravy for our order.

I was debating whether to even do this review since I ordered it the other day. But I figured why not. KFC has been the worst fast food chain in my experience on this planet. It didn’t use to be as a kid. I used to love it. But I am not exaggerating when I say whenever I do get it now, which is rarely, my order is ALWAYS messed up. I told myself a year or two ago that was it. But every once in a while they have something on the menu that’s like “well hell, why not try it.” So they got me with the honey bbq chicken. Reminded me of their snacker days. So I go to order. I pull up to the window, pay, but then the person at the drive thru window tells me to back up to behind the yellow pole to wait for my food. Which I thought was weird because wouldn’t any car behind me think I was just not pulling up to the window? But I did anyway. Lo and behold, a car comes up behind me and sees me waiting before the window and beeps at me. I try to signal to them I was told to wait here but the whole interaction was so stupidly predictable. Finally they wave me back up to the window to grab my food. Thank god. I get home and what do I see? A messed up order. I ordered the honey bbq tenders. I receive just plain tenders with not even bbq sauce to dip. It was actually hilarious because they came in this big box and I had my hopes up like “okay we got good sized tenders nowadays.” Only to open and each being the size of a BK chicken fry. So that was unfortunate. Then I open my honey bbq chicken sandwich and am happy to see it’s honey bbq. But upon further inspection, it’s just barely so. Only half of the chicken even had bbq sauce, and it was hardly any at that. The saddest chicken sandwich I may have ever seen. I say all this to say, I am gonna go back to avoiding KFC at all costs. No matter what they add to the menu. Because it is clear to me they just don’t care. I want whoever reads this to have more self respect than I did and just get your fast food from somewhere else. There’s a chick fil a nearby, just go there.

I went there at 1030pm the seating area was closed website says they close at 1130pm, they were out of Chrispy chicken and Mac and cheese, didn't even get food just left

Worst place to order food. Cashier was very unprofessional. Witnessed him berate and yell at an old woman because he heard her order wrong and proceeded to yell at her and act very rude and disrespectful to her. He was also on his phone, had his headphones on and was wearing flip flops in the kitchen. Very unprofessional behavior.

Went to kfc today on Irving park to order chicken and when placing my order in drive thru the cashier told me they don’t have no check today like what KFC has no chicken then tells me the have tenders I tried to order them but then was told they are not available so KFC why you guys still open (No Chicken at all ) crazy never coming back again
