So good! Love the vibes and attentive service. It feels like you went on vacation or to a different place in a good way. The food is SO GOOD. We ordered steak, Al pastor but forgot to take a picture. Food came out hot at reasonable time. Fresh and well seasoned food. They made my husband’s birthday special. Sangria was also very good, fresh fruits, not watered down like some places. Definitely my new go to when in the area!

Fascinating food. Everything scrumptious. The pork tamal with the green mole and the Cornish hen were my favorites.

Had a good dinner here. All the flavors were spot on. I tried the Kie Gol Lanee soup—really flavorful, though I was hoping for a bit more chicken in it. The rajas tamale was good, and the champurrado was great—rich and comforting. Also, shoutout to the staff: I accidentally left my phone on the table, and one of the employees ran out to return it to me. Really appreciated the kindness and honesty.

Food is awesome, well presented and generous portions. Café de olla has the traditional taste that made think of home. You wont be disappointed and will enjoy quality traditional Oaxaca food. Only downside is that gets very loud and hard to have a conversation.

I have been coming to this places for years and it never disappoints. Tonight I came with my sisters. The food was delicious, service was amazing, drinks were excellent. They were so patient and kind with us. Love this place. Quality food and quality service. Must go place and get the chapulines!

As someone born and raised in OAXACA, I give this ROUGHLY 1 ⭐️

The food is WAYYY too bland. TASTELESS.
You receive a VERY SMALL PORTION for the price you pay! One plate runs from $26+
Making it about $50/person!

My little one was very disappointed There is no kids menus or any kid-friendly foods

The Tepache tastes like dirty water from Colorado instead of pineapple, piloncillo, cinnamon, ETC. (supposed to have a sweet yet earthy flavor)
The mole is NOT mole! It’s like a red gentrified salsa (not spicy at all)

It gets quite dark in there

It’s 2025 & You still pay 3% processing fees if you pay with credit cards(?!) be for real! I think the price of your menus should cover that with how overpriced the plates are!

Service was OK.

The only good thing we had was the horchata (you can tell its homemade which makes it 50x better) and the atole de elote (very small cup btw-4oz. I’d say?)

Overall, I Would not go back at all🚫

A neighborhood staple with delicious food and exquisite service. I’ve been going here for the past eight years and have always had a great meal. Try the huitlacoche dishes, any of the tamales, and a tlayuda for an authentic Oaxacan cuisine experience. Great for brunch, too!

So good! The place is small and kind of cramped but what it lacks in size, this place makes up for in taste! We arrived on time but they were packed so we waited in the car for about 10 mins. We were sat upstairs in the corner which was a pleasant surprise because the middle tables were just so close to each other. We ordered from the restaurant week so stared with the margarita which was ok. The tamale was great and had a great chicken filling. The tlayuda w/sliced beef was really nice. The tortilla was nice and crispy and the beef was tender. It heated up well in the air fryer but was pretty messy and difficult to eat since its open face like a pizza, but there’s no binder holding the toppings to the tortilla. The chicken enchiladas were scrumptious and the red mole was the perfect compliment. The camarones de diabla were spicy and delicious. The shrimp were fresh and cooked perfectly but the presentation and plating didn’t make a ton of sense. Covering the cooked shrimp with lettuce was just awkward to eat. The lettuce and avocado should be on the side. We ordered the flan and the tres leches for desert. The presentation of both was amazing, but the tres leches was PHENOMENAL! Not too sweet, nicely balanced, and the perfect size after the dinner menu.
