Tasty ice cream and picked up some treats for the family back home. Very pricey. Large selection but didn’t buy as much as I would have due to exorbitant prices. Had a bit of an outdoor patio feel for seating with cast iron patio furniture. Staff wasn’t super helpful or welcoming…just there.

Kilwins Ice Cream is one of the top go to spots when you want Ice Cream, Milk Shakes, Chocolates, Chocolate Candies and tons of other sweet treats in downtown Chicago. Now keep in mind Kilwins is on Michigan Ave in downtown Chicago. For some reason or other, the Google Maps will tell you it's on another street but it's actually a few doors down from the CVS going south. Now let's get the the greatness of what they have to offer. Traditional the one I generally go to is in Hyde Park but the owner, owns both locations and she's amazing. The Ice Cream is always fresh. The candies are always on point. I generally get the mints when I do eat candy. Now also keep in mind the seating in the downtown location is limited therefore you might want to take a peek in first, if you plan on eating inside. All and all Kilwins is an amazing place for Ice Cream and different treats and the customer service is always high class. You have to try them out one day.

Drove 5 hours to Chicago and the only place I wanted to go was Kilwins for a milkshake. Once I finally paid to park and walked in, they told me they were out of milk. I was devastated.
Hi, I went to Kilwins today with my friends to have some ice cream as it is my birthday tomorrow on 17th September, so we went there to celebrate my day and have some desserts. But it all went in vein because the service provided by the people there was terrible. They were not talking to us nicely and their attitude towards us was very rude. I didn’t expected such behavior from them, as we always go to Kilwins to have ice creams and shakes. Please take a serious note, so they won’t destroy anyone else’s big day.
