I lived in Korea for 7 years and this is the closest I’ve come to Korean home cooking in the US. The Kim’s will look after you. Such tasty food 🙏🏼 찰먹었습니다 ~~

Visited on two separate occasions. Both experiences were great. Authentic Korean food at very reasonable prices. Sides were great as well. Highly recommend their kimchi stew.

First time visiting Chicago, first restaurant I went to here. Simply the best Korean food I’ve ever had, hands down. And incredibly affordable. Thanks for making my visit to such an awesome city so memorably delicious lol the seafood pancake was irresistible

Kim's is my go to for comfort food, so happy they are in the neighborhood. Always fresh & tasty banchan. Beef hangover soup will give you life. The crispy fried chicken is delightful. Thank you & love you Kim's!

The food is really good here! I got the bulgogi kimbap and hot stone pot bibimbap. Everything was delicious and the people working there were very nice. The only minor con I have is I'm used to having more traditional ingredients in my kimbap like carrots, spinach, meat, eggs, yellow radish but they used lettuce and I think beets. It was still very good though!

Unfortunately I can't review the food, only the terrible service. I arrived 40 minutes before closing, which I don't find to be disrespectful, it wasn't like it was four minutes before closing. I can easily order and eat within 40 minutes. There were five occupied tables, which is about half the restaurant. And a few of them were still waiting for food. The older man behind the counter made eye contact with me and my friend and then continued doing what he was doing. I assumed we should just seat ourselves which is what I find pretty common in these smaller restaurants. As soon as we were about to sit down at the table he said to us that the kitchen was closed. I said it was still early and he just laughed. Can't decide if I want to give this place another try.

What a lovely, hidden gem! Delicious Korean food with lots of flavor and good portions. Would recommend the sweet garlic chicken wings, bulgogi kimbap, and the bibimbap.
