The food here is really good and the menu extensive! The service is decent too. It seems to be a one man show which amazes me! It was Chef Prem who took my order as well as prepared the food! He seemed very busy at the time of taking my order but was still very courteous the whole time and patiently answered my questions regarding the food.As for the food itself - The Palak paneer was delicious! What truly makes it stand out is that Chef Prem uses fresh spinach instead of frozen. The garlic naan was really good too and so were the samosas! For dessert I ordered the Mango kulfi and my husband got the pista - both delicious!Definitely our new favourite Indian restaurant in Lincoln Park!

Our naan bread and chicken kabobs were burnt to a crisp. The other items we ordered (samosa and paneer tikka masala) were okay in my opinion...not great, but just okay. The plain white rice was good. I'm giving one more star because times are tough for local businesses.

Really delicious. This post is long overdue. I ordered from here when they first opened and the food was delicious, the servings were generous, and the staff was friendly. We ordered lamb korma and paneer makhani with garlic naan. I would suggest you order an extra side of rice. Even though their portions are good, I always end up running out of rice for leftovers. They also gave us a mango lassi sample and it was delicious.

Was really looking forward to the Avakaya egg Biryani, but found a piece of meat in it. I don't eat meat so had to throw the whole thing out and was extremely disappointed. I hope the restaurant can be more careful in handling the food so that there is no cross contamination of meat with vegetarian food for those who have dietary restrictions. Samosa was okay.

One of the best Indian restaurants I've been to. You can tell they understand the ingredients they use. I've never tasted flavors like I've tasted here. Everything on the menu is good, I always try something new and it never disappoints. I will keep coming back!

Pricey but makes up for the big portion! Taste great! Will come again!

Came in and was surprised to cheese dosa on the menu since you don't get tit everywhere. It was pretty good, nice and crispy and not too oily, but there wasn't enough cheese inside. The coconut chutney lacked that spice and flavor, but overall the cheese dosa was good. I got falooda which was strawberry flavor vs. rose that I was expecting. I would come back to try their other dishes. They do start you off with pappadum and service was fast.

Went for breakfast. Didn't wait long for a table outside. The food was so good. I will definitely go back, I recommend this place to all my friends when they travel to Savannah.

A great new addition to Lincoln Park. We ordered food to go last night and can't say enough about the food. We had samosas, palak paneer and aloo gobi masala - the food was absolutely delicious. My favorite was the aloo gobi masala - it had big bites of potatoes and lovely cauliflower in this delicious (medium spiced) sauce, it tasted so fresh and homemade. We will definitely be back. I appreciate Alderman Smith's office adding restaurants into her weekly email, otherwise we might have missed King Chicago.

We dined at King chicago Indian in Cuisine last night and the food was absolutely delicious. The flavors were very bold and pronounce, the aroma was excellent, and the abundance of food was just right. I ordered probably eight dishes for my family of six. We had leftovers for lunch the next day. I definitely will order from here again.

We ordered a pick up from King Chicago for the first time and simply loved the food. We ordered all South Indian dishes ans they were very authentic - something which we have not even experienced at many of the South Indian restaurants at Devon- Chicago. We will definitely order again and would surely recommend anyone who likes South Indian food.

Great Indian Food. We ordered Goat biriyani, Goat fry, Chicken 666, Naan etc. Everything was amazing and flavorful. A tad towards the spicier side, but what's Indian food without a bit of spice. But if you mind hot food, I would say, provide instructions during ordered, so they can adjust. The Biriyani was very flavorful and meat well cooked. Loved Chicken 666. Would say one of the best (if not the best) Indian place in the neighborhood. Got a complementary desert (halwa) with the order. That was really tasty too. Nice gesture :) Definitely our to-go place for sometime.
