The first time I came here I really enjoyed it so I took my out of town friends. When we arrived it was right at 5pm, we were outside waiting to go in after they unlocked the establishment. The short, bald bartender saw us waiting and, unlike a socially aware person, didn’t hold the door behind him to let us in. He was very dismissive.
The staff didn’t acknowledge us and when I asked one of them a question he went “uh” and just stared at me, which was so strange. They weren’t friendly and made us feel so unwelcome. It’s concerning to me that there are many reviews like this but management seems to have done nothing about it.
The drinks were good. Like everyone says too pricey so we mainly stuck to the happy hour menu. The tarot is &20 per person and my friends liked their readings. I thought it was ok but the price is good, readings are usually more. The atmosphere is top notch and great for Halloween season. If you’re interested in going I’d highly suggest a reservation and don’t expect friendly staff.

Always great drinks and they really committed to the medieval ambiance.
It can get a bit crowded since it's popular, but if you can find table or seat, it's an awesome place to pass the time.
They specialize in flaming drinks, so be sure to have one of those if you drop by.

Decor was entertaining and the old cartoons on the TV's were interesting in a good way. They had tarot readings in the back which is not my thing but cool that it was there.
Our drinks were mediocre. We didn't order off their drink menu but what we ordered wasn't niche or that complex (Jungle Bird). It was missing a core component of the drink and what was there didn't taste balanced.
The bartender was a bit snobby and the music was difficult to talk over at 7:30pm. I understand that level of volume after midnight but it was too much for a post dinner drink.
Like everywhere it was pricey. If you get one of the few outdoor tables and maybe order one of their cocktails I could see how you'd have a good time. Our experience wasn't great though.

Loved this little bar! High class feel cocktail bar with an excellent menu. I asked if the bartender could make my favorite drink (Hugo spritz) and he sure did. $20 for the cocktail but it was HUGE and DELISH. Super friendly and vibrant energy in a well decorated area. We came with a big group of friends and had no problem with seating or waiting in lines for anything. Truly a blast

Awesome bar. Andy is a great bartender & mixologist. If you’re in to bourbon and want a fair prices pour on a pour of the Weller rainbow or Pappy 10, 12, 15 or Stagg, EH Taylor Barrel proof, RHF, definitely don’t come here.
