I would like to rate this restaurant with 2 stars. The customer service was great. I traveled from Holland, Michigan in search of a good soul food restaurant. I won't go into detail, but I will mention some areas for improvement. The catfish was delicious. The sweet potato had a nice flavor. The Mac N Cheese was tasty. However, the potato salad could use some improvement. The greens tasted like they came from a can and had a lot of stems.

Ribs & sauce were good, Greens were bland, Yams need less Nutmeg, Potato Salad tasted bland & store-bought, Cornbread Muffins were good, Banana Pudding was good . Overall, I did not like it

I did a catering order for my mother's 70th birthday party. I asked them to deliver the food to the location. They were punctual and everything was hot! We ordered baked chicken, catfish filets, dirty rice, cabbage, green beans with smoked turkey, yams and corn muffins. Everything was delicious 😋. What was surprising and very much appreciated was the follow-up call that I received from the owner the following morning. He asked how the food was and if everyone enjoyed it. Very professional and courteous. I will definitely use them at my next event.

Love it had a shrimp and chicken Alfredo called to make an order they didn’t have .. but they called me back to personally make the order .. the food was amazing .. I will be back and also greattttt hospitality.

This is my first time here and I'm sooo glad I came to this place, it's a great hidden gem Ralph is a really nice and this food is so good come here and get some 81st and cottage grove

I ordered off Uber eats I normally don’t leave reviews but… if I had to rate the food over all it would be a 4 or 5 to be nice the Mac and cheese was salty the yams didn’t taste like yams it wasn’t sweet and normal I mix my yams and macaroni to get the sweat and salty taste but unfortunately the yams hardly had taste it was like i can’t even describe it the chicken was good the cornbread literally had corn in it but it wasn’t that bad the greens was decent the cabbage was good.

Nastiest soul food I ever tasted had black specks in every piece of food chicken was ok and fried good but I mean you can’t mess up chicken for real but sides was sooo nasty I want my money back sooo bad from this I just know to stay away ?.

I am so happy I came across this restaurant. The food was delicious. I can't wait to go back to try other stuff. Cash

I was looking for a soul food restaurant and saw your picture. The entrance in the picture is dirty it looksuninviting. If the outside is unclear what does it say about the inside? I won't be coming in.
