I had catfish fillets, sweet potatoes, and greens. All of the food was spectacular!!! I also bought a slice of lemon cake to take home. It was delicious 😉. Prices are just right!!! Now get you some!!!!!!
I would like to rate this restaurant with 2 stars. The customer service was great. I traveled from Holland, Michigan in search of a good soul food restaurant. I won't go into detail, but I will mention some areas for improvement. The catfish was delicious. The sweet potato had a nice flavor. The Mac N Cheese was tasty. However, the potato salad could use some improvement. The greens tasted like they came from a can and had a lot of stems.
I did a catering order for my mother's 70th birthday party. I asked them to deliver the food to the location. They were punctual and everything was hot! We ordered baked chicken, catfish filets, dirty rice, cabbage, green beans with smoked turkey, yams and corn muffins. Everything was delicious 😋. What was surprising and very much appreciated was the follow-up call that I received from the owner the following morning. He asked how the food was and if everyone enjoyed...
