Dinner last night was incredible!! We were fortunate to experience the expertise of bar manager Francisco. We talked steak cuts, wine pairings, side dish recommendations, Chicago in general, differences in Mezcal vs tequila and a pretty incredible espresso martini! Wish I had taken food pictures, but it was being in the moment with an amazing epicurean experience!!

Sadly, the meal was bland and did not meet my expectations. I found the potato puree to lack much flavor. I also found the famous lamb chops to be very salty, fatty, and very rare. I would not suggest this place to anytime visiting Chicago. Sorry guys.

Service was impeccable. Appetizers were not only wonderful but beautifully presented. Filets were good but i expected better. Desserts were fabulous and presented in a lovely manner. Overall a great experience !

Kinzie Chophouse doesn't owe me anything! The food, our server (Edy Orozco), I've even had an old fashion named after me which was amazing!! The entire experience was priceless!!!

Amazing service, delicious tasting menu, and generous portions. I came to Kinzies almost 10 years ago under different ownership with my husband. Back in town for a solo trip and decided to try it again. SO glad I did. Reasonably priced and fabulous tasting menu that left me fat and happy! I kept forgetting to take pictures of each course, I kept digging right in. The service was impeccable, attentive and charming staff. This is a real gem, recommend with no reservations.

Steak had a tainted taste, but I was starving so I ate ate it. 16oz regular steak was a 12/13 oz steak much smaller than the aged 16oz. Not pleased with quality or options.
Unfortunately, I will not be returning. Service was excellent not the food. Went with group and ordered many items started with appetizers. The crab cakes were 3 size of a teaspoon, see photo with large steak knife next to it. 28.00 for crab cakes.
Very disappointed and to continue, mashed potatoes were liquidity, little soupy. Mac and cheese was bland, no cheese flavor. Demi glas sauce was honey sweet....so many negative remarks, will end this review with not a fan and will never go back.
