This was my first deep dish pizza experience, and if you're really into that sort of thing this could be a great option. A huge pro of this place is that it is open till late hours unlike many of the other restaurants in Chicago which close at 9 or whatever. I would not recommend trying to eat an entire deep dish pizza by yourself. You could definitely share one— even the smaller size— among two people. I also liked the vibe of the place, and it was considerate and self-aware...
Got the buffalo cauliflower wings and the traditional deepdish. Heavy on the sauce, but I enjoyed it. Of note, the pepperoni on this pie was an entire continuous layer; I've never seen a deep dish pizza like this. Over all, its a very fun spot. I appreciated the jarring purple lights and The Stooges being played blaringly loud, but the vibe here definitely won't be for everyone.
This place is more like 3 1/2 stars for me but not because of the food. Been here a few times over the last decade and the vibe is slightly off. I really don’t enjoy the lighting and the place always has some sort of weird smell. If you haven’t had deep dish before it’s worth coming here to try. The buffalo cauliflower wings are pretty sick too.
