Diamond was my server and really took care of us ensuring we understood what to order and that our food made it out quickly.
Had an amazing experience at kitchen and kocktails The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was great I had Xena as my waitress she was so sweet and very enthusiastic! Huge shoutout to her for creating such a special place. I’ll definitely be back!
Everything was great, but I’m not sure if the air conditioning was working or not, but it was extremely hot in there, which made it very uncomfortable. I wished they had considered that before opening that day, or maybe placed fans throughout.
Was there on Saturday with my girls and a HUGE ROACH crawled on the table while we were eating!! The lady manager came over afterward and tried to hush it and tried to give us a free meal but free or not there’s roaches all in that establishment. Literally disgusting. This was after our food came out super late and wrong. We waited 45 mins for entrees and 20 minutes into eating a critter crawls clean across our table. If you like ROACHES this is the place for you! But if not there’s much better much cheaper black owned options in Chicago.
Diamond and YaYa were amazing!! They didn’t have much but from the way they guided me through the experience left me and my gf more than satisfied!! I can’t wait until the new location opens so I can come back for an even bigger better experience!
Dani was an excellent server. Very nice, amiable and helpful which is very rare in Chicago.
Our server, Diamond like a diamond ring was wonderful! She made sure all of our needs were met! She gave great recommendations and service!
I was disappointed. Due to the fact they were moving to a new location several of the menu items were not available. Almost 50% wasn't available so I had to order something I really didn't come there for. The jerk chicken was just ok and only white meat. The Cesar salad didn't have the Cesar dressing, had to use Italian instead and they didn't put the breadcrumbs on the salad. The bill was $128 for a salad with salmon, jerk chicken, two sides and a cocktail. Just not worth the price and they should let people know on their website if most of the menu items weren't available. That was really misleading. I would've came when they were fully operational instead
First time. All very good. Food, sevice, cocktails, we'll be back. Can't wait to see the new place.
Emma was an amazing waitress! The restaurant had great food as well! It was a great place!

We were warmly greeted with “Welcome home!” as we entered the restaurant and the hostess was well prepared and aware we were celebrating a birthday. A lot of the staff acknowledged my friend with birthday wishes as they walked by. Our server, Davia (forgive my spelling if it's incorrect), gave excellent recommendations, exercised her knowledge of the menu expertly, and had fabulous flair to her service style (must be that Bronx swag 😉). We started with the Trinity eggrolls — wow! And we each the fried chicken with specialty waffles — wow again! I chose the banana pudding waffles, because our server described them as decadent, which I'm all about. She was spot on! As a first-timer, the option to take photographs and then have them presented to you in a frame was a bit much and unexpected. However, it seems like a nice touch conceptually. Best of luck with the new location!
10s all across the board
It was my very first visit and the food was absolutely amazing! We will be back again soon! Can't wait to try the lamb chops! The staff was very friendly and attentive! Just an absolute great experience!
Such a great place to be! The waiters were so gentil and nice! And the food.. omg sooo good!!
We ordered the oysters and I'd almost say it's a must if you like it bc they were amazing!!! Also when it comes to drinks they can impress you, the cotton candy one is really nice!
Loved this place and can't wait to go to their next location
I was visiting from Las Vegas and I was told that the food is good so I wanted to experience it for myself. Once seated the waitress finally came and asked what we wanted to drink. We started off with water. It came with no ice just tap water. Next catfish, and shrimp was ordered. The meal was to salty. The Mac and cheese with lobster didn't taste good. I ate the lobster out of it. Anyway it was 2 of us, and we got separate checks. And had a 20% gratuity which was $15.00 per person automatically added. I was not happy. I won't we back. People be aware of the hidden price. I was disappointed. I did stop to speak to the manager and express my concerns. He did go get some desert to make up for my disappointed. Good luck
