The service is progressively worse each time I go. It's close to my office and I like to bring clients here but I definitely need to find a new place. We ordered appetizers they didn't come. When our actual order came we let the server know the appetizers didn't come and pls just cancel. She ends up putting the order in and brought the apps after we got on entrees. The random camera man trying to charge for pics was more aggressive than needed. 1 no answer should be all it takes. The food is usually pretty good this visit.

My wife and I invited another couple to eat there and we all enjoyed it. Everything was peaceful and perfect. We had a incident with a flat tire getting there but it was resolved and we still made our reservation on time.

Kitchen + Kocktails by Kevin Kelley in Chicago delivers an unforgettable blend of soulful comfort food, elevated dining, and an atmosphere that makes every visit feel like a celebration. From the moment you walk in, you're welcomed by stylish décor, warm lighting, and upbeat energy that sets the tone for a truly enjoyable evening. The food is the star of the show. Every dish is rich, flavorful, and beautifully plated—from the perfectly seasoned fried chicken and crispy catfish to the creamy macaroni, candied yams, and mouthwatering waffles. The portions are generous, the ingredients feel high quality, and the flavors hit every note of Southern comfort with an upscale twist. And the cocktails? Absolutely phenomenal. Creative, bold, and crafted with attention to detail. Whether it's their signature drinks served with flair or the classics they elevate, each cocktail feels like an experience in itself. The service is friendly and attentive, and the staff helps keep the vibe lively without being overwhelming. Server was great, fried chicken was OK, mac & cheese tasted like Stouffer's. Popeye's has better fried chicken and mac & cheese for a fraction of the price.

I believe in giving honest feedback to allow small businesses a chance to improve. Last night the service at Kitchen and Koctails was not good. At the rime is caahout the waitress who have minimal service at best told us to “skip the survey because they can't see it”. What an odd thing to say after delivering bad service on an automatic gratiuty bill. Do Better‼️ One of the things that made the price point palatable was the great customer service. My Cutomer Service Experiencelast night was not good. I hope that managem see this and makes the necessary changes.

Hostess was more attentive to us than the server... Ashley was all over the place... food 🔥 need to work on wait staff

The only thing great about the experience was YaYa our waitress. Once she was assigned our table (after a 20 minute wait of being totally ignored) she was fabulous! Actually we were about to leave and her friendly demeanor kept us. The food was OK at best the drinks are grossly overpriced.

Ask for Jordyn, great service! 10/10! I would highly recommend and will ask for her when I return.

Reservation was at 8 and we didn't get seated until 9, food was great but the kitchen was backed up took hours for the food.

The collard green dip was absolutely delicious. My husband loved the trinity egg rolls. The best thing about the dream eggs was the shrimp. The eggs themselves were bland. My southern fried chicken was crispy and well seasoned. The greens and yams were very good but the Mac and cheese didn't have enough cheese flavor to me. My husband enjoyed his stuffed salmon. For my birthday we were given a peach Luce shot. It was delicious. The blackberry margarita and rum punch were equally delicious. The banana pudding was very good also. Our waiter was great but the food came out slower than expected. There was a photographer that took pictures if you wanted. It's a nice service with an extra cost. He took six pictures and we bought two. Overall we enjoyed our meal and we'd definitely go back.

The food was not hot when it arrived and everything seemed over salted, some of the dishes we wanted weren't available until after a certain time . I think if you're going to charge high end prices you should have high end service, so I won't be going back
