They make a great vegan queso and everyone gets it by default, no no vegan queso. Taquitos are good, I appreciate that there's two different options but they do just kinda reheat them for you. Super fun trivia night.

Kite string has taquitos they warm up and two vegan options. Once included seitan but I haven’t been able to try because they sell out. The other has beet tortilla and butternut squash filling. Very good! You can also order chips and vegan queso but it’ll be a full jar of queso so enjoy to take home. Good decently priced drinks too.

the house nacho cheese deserves an award! it’s unreal. it’s vegan (i’m not) and i’d still pick it over any other nacho cheese out there. do yourself a favor and grab a bag of the salt + lime chips to go with it. great vibes, great drinks, and even better service :)

The taquitos are a touch high in price, but that's honestly a very minor complaint. I like coming here for the music, and the people are lovely. If you like a weird mix of goth and Post-Punk, 80s music, shoegaze, indie, metal, trip-hop, and a few other things, then this is the place to go. People of all stripes hang out here. They also play films and have events. The people who run this place are lovely, and it's a nice watering hole to visit after work or if you're in the neighborhood. I strongly recommend this place and for good vibes and great company. They specialize in Mexican booze so stop by soon for mezcal, beer, and tequila. A review can't properly describe the good memories I have from here.

Kite String has food in house and also pops up at locations in the city. We were able to try the Vegan Butternut Taquitos which were delicious and not at all greasy. The chips and tomatillo salsa were great and reasonably priced.

Had then at the Sleeping Village Blood Rave pop-up and it was phenomenoal. Maybe the best food pop up ive had at that venue. Can't wait to try their flagship space. I had the cheese burger ones and they were unique, crisp, and delicious. Can't wait to try them all! The hosts were also super friendly and nice.
