Kizami Sushi is a charming and lively sushi spot located in Lincoln Park. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere, beautifully decorated and feels very traditional and intimate. Despite its smaller size, seating around 30 people, Kizami Sushi offers a wide variety of delicious and fresh dishes. The A5 Wagyu nigiri and zuke sake nigiri are highly recommended, along with the standout Tasty Thai and the Godzilla Roll. The restaurant also boasts an impressive sake selection, alongside a variety of wine and cocktails. While there might be a short wait for a table, even with reservations, the quick and attentive service makes up for it. The food is fresh, light, and packed with flavor, with nothing feeling overly complicated. The sushi chefs' skills can be admired while sitting at the bar. Overall, Kizami Sushi provides great sushi, a great vibe, and is a delightful place worth visiting again to explore more of their extensive menu offerings. The owner was very helpful recommending rolls and made a fantastic gin lychee martini. Great deals and choices for happy hour, with a lot of sushi for under $20 that was genuinely super good. Mink was very helpful and responsive. This place is worth it, with amazing sushi and a cool vibe.
