I ordered a birthday cake and they did an incredible job !!! Not only was it beautiful but it was delicious. It’s absolutely a must do if you’re looking for a place to get a cake

I want to like this place because it's near where I live, but every time I go there, it's not a good experience. I stopped in on my way home from work. It was pouring rain outside, and I knew they serve grilled cheese sandwiches .

Not. Only for breakfast!?!?!?!?!?! What?!?! Typically, a grilled cheese sandwich would be considered lunch or dinner, not breakfast.

So, I ordered something else. A savory pastry. I asked to have it toasted and waited at least 10 minutes for it to be done.

Come home, take a bite. It was COLD. SHE DIDN'T EVEN TOAST IT. I live less than 1/2 block away. There is no way it got cold.

A waste of time and money, every time.

Never going back.

We went to the cafe twice for breakfast during our stay in Chicago. We love their hot Pumpkin Spice latte and the Pistachios Matcha latte. We had the Mushroom, spinach and cream cheese puff pastry and Viral Bagel (Garlic and parsley cream cheese) on one day. The next day we had the Guava & cream pastry and Ham & cream cheese cachitos. We love all the breakfast items. First time trying a cachito. It is like a bread shaped in a crescent. The cafe atmosphere is very casual and relax.

I visit Klein’s for the first time, I ordered an iced latte with soy milk, when they gave me the latte I noticed milk lumps all over and at the bottom, I kindly asked them if they could change it. They gave me milk from the exact SAME bottle claiming that the expiration date was 2025 and that they just had to “shake it”, I guess they don’t know that expiration date might be 2025, but once opened you have to consume it within 5-7 days, and also if you noticed a lumpy texture, you don’t use that milk anymore, specially if you own a business.
I ended up throwing the coffee, wasting money and I had to go to a different coffee shop.
So disappointing.

I really love coming to Klein, their food and service are excellent!

Klein’s bakery is a must stop for us, their selection of coffee and baked goods is amazing, there’s always something new to try. Their viral Bagel is delicious! Great service and atmosphere. 100% recommended

I went on a trip from New York for three days to Chicago and I wanted to go to this place because the cachitos had been recommended to me. I loved them. I went twice and, if I go to Chicago again, I will definitely go again to eat more cachitos. Recommended 100%

Do not go to this place if you are looking for a place to have lunch.

Came in with a friend around 1:00 pm weekday. Ordered two coffees and two sandwiches. The coffees were bad, and the sandwiches were much worse.

Long story the short, the place may offer decent baked goods, but it wasn't a good place for a prepared lunch.

I’ve gone here a couple of times before work to order a bagel and a chai tea and the service is soooo slow but there are staff walking around so it’s not a staffing issue. The chai is usually pretty much just milk and almost a watery flavor and the bagel is fine.

Klein’s is truly a wonderful, happy place! Amazing coffee! All the food is sooooo tasty! The staff is amazing! Welcoming, warm and friendly! A visit to Klein’s is always a bright, joyful spot in my day! Five Stars Plus!!!
