I forgot to take a picture. I had the sausage egg and cheese croissant. It was two sausage patties and the croissant itself was almost two hands together. Solid portions. My partner had the everything bagel toasted and said the quality and potions were great. We both had iced lattes. Great taste and ingredients. Service was really fast and is a great local spot.

I was excited to try this coffee shop during my visit to Chicago. Got there as soon as they opened. Did not feel welcoming, felt rushed when making my order even though there was no one else there. Coffee was not great (she handed me my coffee in less than 20 seconds). I can tell when I’m getting quality coffee and quality service, and this is not it. Even gave me the wrong sandwich, and just kept saying I ordered that. Left the food there, would not spend my money here.

I’m literally so obsessed with this place. I crave their matcha constantly—it’s hands down the best I’ve had in the city. Everything I’ve eaten here has been incredible, from the pastries to the sandwiches. The service is always so friendly, and the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. I genuinely want to come here every single morning. Klein’s has quickly become my go-to spot.

I love both the original location and the one on Diversey! I've been coming here since the bakery opened and I love the coffee, sweet, atmosphere and the service. My favorite is the pistachio cake.

The Coffee was very good! Service was very good as well and it had a great vibe overall. Would definitely come back!

The lady at the front was so rude. I had asked for a cappuccino with an extra shot. She wasn’t too happy about that. Then once they called out the coffee another guy took my coffee so I was left with his coffee. And I asked her is this the cappuccino bc it didn’t seem right. It wasn’t even in their regular cups. It was a smaller one like a one shot espresso. When she insisted that’s mine I was like whatever, I let it slide. As I was walking back she yells at me to wait, so I can get my cold spinach and cheese puff. She gave it to me cold, didn’t even bother warming it up. I had came to this place many times before. The lady owner was super nice, she always warms up whatever pastries you buy. She’s super friendly. But looks like they hired someone else and she’s terrible. They definitely lost a customer

The food is great, the coffee is excellent and the service is outstanding! Cami was super attentive, she did great recommendations, we had a great time!

I ordered a very large order of cookies, brownies, cakepops, etc from Klein's and the order was SO above & beyond what I expected. Not only did my group find everything absolutely delicious, but the packing was done with such care that everything made it successfully on a long distance journey. I used to just get brunch here on weekends, but now I want to give everyone their fantastic baked goods as gifts. Truly a gem!!

Decent drinks; food seems little processed not so fresh. Service could be better but it's a convenient location.

Klein’s turned into our favorite restaurant in Chicago! We were visiting for the weekend and ended up eating here multiple times. Laura was so kind and went above and beyond to give us excellent service. We will be stopping here every time we visit!

The Staff was very rude and slow. It was not busy with customers and took me 15 minutes to get 2 cold brews and a bagel (albeit not the one I ordered). I normally don’t review restaurants but am hoping this helps Kleins improve their service.

I've given this place the benefit of the doubt a few times because sometimes things take longer during the morning rush. Today was the last straw. With only a few customers in the store, I waited over 20 minutes to have some pastries warmed up before finally asking for a refund and walking out empty-handed 30min later.

I would give 0 stars if I could. The service is absolutely terrible. Not sure what on earth could take 20+ minutes to warm up food especially when asking how much longer it will take a few times.

Coffee ended up being cold too to top it all off.

Only thing they have going for themselves is there are few other options nearby. Place deserves to go under or at least hire people who know how to work a kitchen.
