Klein's Bakery & Cafe (Buena Park)

I stopped by this cozy café and ordered a breakfast croissant sandwich and an iced latte—and wow, both were solid hits!

The croissant was buttery and flaky on the outside, with just the right amount of crisp. Inside, the sandwich was stacked with crispy bacon, melty cheddar, and a fluffy egg—simple, but done really well. The bacon had a great smoky flavor, and the cheese gave it that gooey richness I was hoping for. Definitely a satisfying bite from start to finish.

The iced latte was smooth and refreshing, not too sweet, and had a good balance between the espresso and milk. Perfectly chilled with just enough ice to keep it cool without watering it down.

Bonus points for the friendly atmosphere and fast service— Highly recommend for a chill breakfast or brunch stop.

Best spot to grab a latte before heading on a walk by the lake! Vibes are so great and the pastries are so yummy :)

I'm really into establishments wanting my business by showing consideration. I don't drink caffeine, and asked for decaf coffee. Apparently they don't have it - so then I'm charged more for another drink. It was 2 people helping me and there was no accommodating a customer when I asked twice.
To charge for the decaf and provide an alternative since they are out. This is stuff I pay attention to when at establishments! I won't come back. Please help me feel treated at your cafe.

a 30 minute wait for two items is crazy, especially when everyone who came in after me got their food almost immediately. and the food was cold.

What a great and underrated corner cafe/study spot. The staff is awesome as feed as the ambience from the music and atmosphere for pulling out a laptop and studying or having a small talk with someone across from you. Cortado king Johnathan and customer service specialist Frank really make this place feel more welcoming. Such a dynamic duo.

I live in the area and have been trying to come as often as possible. Their pastries are so delicious- I get the mushroom spinach pastry which is flaky and delicious and also quite hefty- it is a filling pastry for breakfast. I also love the guava cheese one- not too sweet and always nicely baked. Their coffee is good too and the staff is very nice and accommodating. Every baked good (chocolate cake, tres leches, pistachio ricotta cake) I have ordered there is also extremely delicious. The chocolate brownie is THE BEST brownie I have gotten from a bakery- it is exactly what one would want in a chocolate brownie.

Placed an order on Grubhub for four croissants and a chai latte. I only received one croissant and it was burned. That means someone thought it was a good idea to put a burned croissant in a bag, hand it to a driver and have it delivered to me, thinking it would be fine for a paying customer to eat. Chai latte tasted like water. Never ordering from this “bakery” again.

I loved Kleins, today I bought 3 little things to go and they were old. They knew a bit acidic. Too bad it was far away when we decided to eat. Don't ask to go, try there before you leave. It's the second time it's happened to me.

I had a very nice experience here— they let me use the restroom before ordering, and even though I was there for many hours and probably overstayed my welcome, the staff was nothing but friendly and courteous. I enjoyed a very lovely warm golfeado with a decaf espresso that hit the spot. Prices were very reasonable too!
