The fried rice tasted like fish. I couldn’t eat it. The kale gyoza were good but they’re about a half as big as they were a few years ago. Disappointing and very expensive. Won’t be back.

Kraken is a great restaurant!
The ambience is fun and bustling with imaginative decor making you feel like you’re in a the belly of a ship.
The menu is comprehensive including tasty options for omnivores and vegans alike!
Their sushi is top notch and imaginative. They don’t skip on the vegan and vegetarian options either making them high quality and just as good as the traditional options!
The drinks are also very good.
They work together to serve you and I loved the transparency as it relates to the pre-included tip for a party greater than or equal to 6.

Great location with cozy vibes and outdoor seating, which is perfect for nice days. They offer a great variety of rolls and everything we tried was fresh and flavorful. The Crunchy Lobster and Black Pearl rolls were absolutely delicious — highly recommend both! I'll definitely be coming back.

Let’s talk about that Roasted Duck Bamee. The duck was drier than your ex’s texts after you said “I miss us.” I bit into it and heard my molars whisper, “Bro, we’re not built for this.”
The chicken fried rice? You ever eaten something so bland it made you question if you had COVID again? Fried rice is supposed to be the Beyoncé of leftovers. This was giving me church potluck afterthought.
And the edamame… oh sweet, innocent edamame. You deserve better than this. No salt. No love.
I didn’t just not finish the food—I wanted to break up with it by text, block its number, and pretend we never met. Whatever’s going on in the kitchen—someone needs to pull that chef aside and ask if they’re okay.

Great sushi place in the neighborhood, the sushi is fresh, the service is fast and the ambiance is great, especially in the summer on the patio. Haven't had a bad thing there yet. Love the chirashi bowl, the tots and the spicy truffle edamame.

The sushi here was subpar at best. The rolls were flavorless and the fried components (shrimp tempura and mushrooms) were overdone. For sushi, you are basically better off anywhere else. The server was kind, and the pad Thai was good. With the cost of food these days, we were disappointed to have spent a date night here, felt like a waste. Beware: automatic credit card fee added to bill.
On a separate note: The tables inside are way too close together to enjoy a conversation (tables for two, in particular). It was uncomfortable to hear such a weird convo from the table next to us, but it couldn't be helped, we were practically sitting with them. I wish customer comfort was valued more than squeezing an extra table in.
