I don't know what happened to this place. We've ordered before with no problems but this time was a fiasco. Their online ordering wasn't working so we phoned it in and were told 20 minutes. We showed up a little late and he said it would be 10 more minutes. Then I went back to the window and they hadn't even started part of our order. When they finally packed our order almost an hour after we first called, the price for the chicken was almost double what was listed on their website. Now I know why he wouldn't let me pay for it when I first got there. And they still didn't get our order right after confirming multiple times.

Always wanted to try this place because I heard it was good. Their hours are whatever they feel like, not accurate on the sign or online. Tried 3 days in a row and finally got a 2 piece order with biscuit and it was gross. Everything was too dry and salty.

I would've given this a little bit lower from my last couple of experiences there but I've had such a good history previously that I'm going to give it three stars.I've been going to this location of this franchise for years and we've always been very satisfied. However the last couple of times we've been there this place is really sliding downhill. Besides the fact that it's consistently dirty, the soda machine advertises "no ice, no cups, just soda", but the food itself is now suffering. I went to ask for a mixed box of all the pieces and the guy told me "no white meat". He didn't really bother to explain why I was confused so he ended up explaining the fact that they no longer carry white meat only dark meat. But they do have chicken tenders which are made of white meat which makes it even more confusing. He didn't say the route, he said that they just don't carry white meat anymore. so I got an order of chicken tenders and he said he would substitute out the lack of white meat with dark meat. That said, I was not made aware that he wasn't going to give me any wings. So I came home with legs and thighs which I don't like either. And make it worse, he charged me for a regular chicken with white meat instead of charging me the discounted dark meat combo, and he did it on purpose. So on top of all that I had to buy an extra chicken tenders just to get some white meat so my bill was probably double what it should've been. It really does break my heart because this was at one point the best fast fried chicken in the area even if it's in the gas station, but we won't be going back. Hope someone lets me know if things change otherwise we'll be on the lookout for something new.

Ordered an 8 piece mixed chicken, Okra and a Sprite. Waited a hour for my food and was delivered Okra and a Sprite, no chicken. Called the restaurant and without notice, they cancelled my chicken order because they had no mixed chicken lol the name of the establishment is Krunchy Chicken lol Okra wasn't fresh either.

I went to the location in Hinsdale because at other locations I remember it being top tier! Just the right amount of seasoning & crunch . However , the chicken here was extremely salty as well as the jambalaya. Unfortunately, I couldn't enjoy it . I did rate it a 3 but would've higher just off of the employees ! They deserve a 5 star because they are awesome , helpful, and u can tell they build a rapport with customers . As for me , I think my Krispy Krunchy chicken days are over .

A friend worked there. Tonight I chowed down on 4 piece dark, with mashed potatoes and gravy.The included corn bread was so delicious, needed no butter. I hate to say it, but better than my own cooking.

Don't make the same mistake I did and avoid Krispy Krunchy because it's attached to a gas station. It is extremely underrated, a good value, and consistently delivers for us. We usually get the tenders and I will say while it lacks some of the robust seasoning that other chain chicken restaurants might have, the chicken you get is thick and usually very tasty. We always order right when we get there which is helpful because usually they're dropping fresh stuff for us. Their biscuits are also honey biscuits and cannot be passed up! I'd say if you're ever in a situation where you just have to choose one item, get the biscuits because they are delicious. Fries are also pretty thick and nicely crisped!

We made a large catering order for a Fourth of July party through their online ordering system on their website. We received an emailed receipt and our credit card was charged. My husband went to pick it up at the designated time and the employee there said they never got the order and refused to even speak to my husband about it. The cashier was so extremely rude and unprofessional it left my husband speechless. Lied and said they were closing so he couldn't fulfill the order, now we have to dispute with our credit card. Now we have no food for our party. I would avoid going here for anything. Garbage business.

It was better than it looked, but it was only ok. First of all, this place looks incredibly dirty. I know it's in a gas station, but it looks pretty worrisome. We checked out the website to know what to order. We found out that one item was out that we wanted and one wasn't even on the menu. It also took 20 minutes to get the food, but I guess that means the food was fresh. As for the chicken, it was actually pretty good. It was a little on the salty side, but still juicy and crunchy. I also liked that it wasn't spicy. The biscuit was good, but would have been better if it wasn't half burnt. Not sure if I would come back here, but if I needed something good and was at this gas station, I might stop by!

Consistently delightful. More tender than KFC, less fatty than Popeye's, way better on all counts than Brown's. Chicken is crispy on the outside, moist & tender inside. Biscuits are sweet & fluffy inside. A friend of mine took his stepson who is a true gourmand from The City, & he raved about Krispy Krunchy ! Pickup or delivery are what I recommend, because it's a small place. Fast & cheery service.
Chicken was tasty nice and crunchy . Seasoned pretty good. Mashed potato was instant with a gravy that may have came out of a can. The honey biscuit was black on one side . The lighter part was not very good rather dry and void of honey. So this has been on my bookmarks for several years. I thought it was unusual that are fried chicken place with me at a gas station but at that time it had really great reviews so my brother and I was looking to eat something yummy so he suggested we come here so we came super hot they came in no air-conditioning kind of dirty and campus area to eat and the door was open I guess for ventilation and he could smell gasoline and hear the hot Rod cars revving up their engines in the motorcycle. Probably would not be high on my listTo come here anytime soon
