Kristoffer's Cafe & Bakery

Owners were kind and patient when we placed an order at the wrong Kristoffer’s by accident. I had been to this bakery before and meant to order from here, but didn’t realize there was a very similarly named place in Bridgeport. They explained the difference to me and gave us some free goodies. We also ordered chilaquiles and a sandwich + soup, which were delicious.

They have great tres leches cake.
Best to order in advance if you want a whole cakethough they have slices and smaller cakes (in limited numbers) available for walk-ins. There's also a cafe menu, but I was there for the cake.

Being Mexican, I have always been embarrassed to admit I am not a fan of tres leches cake... and then one magical day I tried Kristoffer's tres leches cake. Holy mother or cakes is their tres leches incomparable! I've introduced this cake to eveyone in my life. I've brought it to endless parties, gatherings and even got three for my wedding. If you want your tastebuds to enter a deep state of bliss, try their tres leches cake. My favorites are coconut, caramel, kahlua and chocolate (which is nearly all of them haha).

Five stars for the nice lady who works in the back and makes all the food. The cake is amazing and the sandwiches always taste home made. The younger girl that works in front is the kind of server that is rude to females but very nice to men. A great small business I will continue to support. Thanks for being here!

We love Kristoffer’s! Our favorite are their cake tops, but everything they offer is incredible. We always look forward to seeing Marta and her family. This is the best cafe in Pilsen.

I cannot review Kristoffer’s higher! The family is amazing. Always so warm and welcoming! Their tamales are top tier. And it’s true—they really do make the best tres leches cake in all of Chicago!

I had a nice almond croissant for the price & great coffee. I wish it was open for dine in while I was looking for that type of space to be on my computer, but it was otherwise a good place for a to go order.

This is a pick-up only bakery located in Pilsen. We got the caramel Tres leches and coconut Tres leches. Both were really good. The sweetness was perfect and not too much. Would highly recommend this bakery for their wide selection of pastries

The best Tres Leches cake I’ve ever had in my life, and I’m Latino, I should know. If you’re driving by. You must stop here for cake.

The coffee is bitter sweet. Truly delicious.

I ordered a flan cake for my girlfriend's surprise birthday and you guys came highly recommended. I'm elated to say that you truly exceeded the recommendation as the flan was the best we've had and will definitely return to try your tres leches! Hats off to the lady who made the cake. It was silky divine!
