sesame soft serve is to die for it’s so good but it’s more on the sweeter side
Stopped by KURIMU craving a cool treat, dropped about $12, grabbed a hojicha soft‑serve scoop and a black sugar milk tea. Ice cream was decent. Staff was friendly, space cute, but price/value just didn’t add up. Not awful, but I’d skip next time.
Very interesting flavors
Fire soft serve and love that the theme/flavors always change! Keep it up!
Love this chain of ice cream shops. They gave so many cool flavors and interesting things to try. Ice cream was an interesting flavor as well. Cute little spot to sit inside and chat with some friends if with your family.
Kurimu has a few locations in Chicago now, and with their growing popularity, it’s no surprise why! We’ve been there 4–5 times and tried several flavors, each one has been superb. Their variety is impressive and sure to amaze both kids and adults alike. Every treat is not only delicious but also picture-perfect. A perfect spot to satisfy your sweet cravings with a side of Instagram-worthy presentation. Highly recommended!
They came out to a Porsche event and shared their ice cream. They were friendly and of course the purple yam was a hit.
A Scoop Above the Rest!
Kurimu is a delightful spot for ice cream lovers, especially those who enjoy seasonal and non-conventional flavors. The creativity in both flavor profiles and presentation makes it a standout dessert destination.
We sampled four different flavors, and every single one was a treat! The Lychee was incredibly refreshing, while the Purple Yum (Ube) was a must-try, offering a beautifully balanced taste of sweetness, wateriness, and creaminess in every bite. What stood out most was how light you feel after enjoying it—a rare and pleasant surprise for an ice cream indulgence.
The interior design and walls add a fun and modern vibe to the shop, making the overall experience even better. The presentation of the ice cream was visually stunning—clearly crafted with thought and care.
The entrance faces north, and the facility is clean and inviting.
I highly recommend Kurimu to anyone who loves unique and flavorful ice cream, and I’ll definitely be returning to try more flavors soon!

This place used to be one of my favorite bubble tea/ice cream shops. But recently their quality has really gone down. Their drinks prices are super expensive now and their cups are never sealed so very easy to spill and leak when you’re transporting it. Not worth the money imo.
